First time in Puglia. Stayed for six nights. Overall we loved the facility. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Our suite was in the main building and beautifully appointed. Our only negative comment about our room would be the light switch system. It is not intuitive and you need a magnifying glas… more

First time in Puglia. Stayed for six nights. Overall we loved the facility. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Our suite was in the main building and beautifully appointed. Our only negative comment about our room would be the light switch system. It is not intuitive and you need a magnifying glass to read the panels. Unfortunately we didn’t bring one. Breakfasts were outstanding, particularly at the location that is not in the main building. We ate all of our lunches and dinners outside of the hotel so we cannot comment on the food and beverage. There are a lot of candles (do they make their own) and most of the common areas are not brightly lit which took some getting used to.

This is a first class hotel, with very good facilities. The rooms are very well appointed and there is excellent attention to detail. Service is uniformly professional and at many points there was a real desire to make us feel special especially through the wonderful Angela in the dining room. There was a great variety of restaurant options but sometimes it was difficult to find out exactly what was on offer and the pricing, especially of wine, seemed a bit erratic. We really enjoyed the big rustic dinner in the Olive Garden. A couple of small points …there seemed to be a reluctance to put hand rails anywhere - on stairs or round the pool, the decor is ultra exuberant and Brindisi airport is a bit underwhelming.

When we first entered the lobby, I got strong cult vibes. Felt like I was in an episode of the handmaiden’s tale. The whole place is dimly lit like you are in a cave. When we first entered the lobby, I got strong cult vibes. Felt like I was in an episode of the handmaiden’s tale. The whole place is dimly lit like you are in a cave. I think this is a tactic to enhance the decor. Our room was covered in rope, twine, sieves, ceramic pots, rope, rusted watering cans and various things you would find at a barn or in your junk drawer. Service is excellent and grounds are beautiful, but the interiors seriously look like a hobby lobby DIY.
