My husband and I stayed in the apartment next to the B&B in mid September. We received a text message from the lady who helps Guilio run the B&B the morning of our stay. She kindly told us that we could check in at any time as long as we gave her some notice. This was perfect for us at Lecce was our last stop on a two week trip and this gave us more time in Lecce. We arrived around 2pm and were given the keys and shown around. We were told to contact Guilio later in our stay as we arrived on a Sunday and payment could not be taken. In the end we met with Guilio on the Tuesday and took payment, he only lives down the road. The apartment itself is HUGE. There was only 2 of us, but there are two large double bedrooms and two large sofas so you could actually comfortably fit 5 or 6 people in this apartment which makes it even better value for money than it is already! It was well equipped, clean and spacious with two bathrooms. It is about a 10 minute walk into the centre via some cute café bars and shops. The property is just within the ZTL Zone, however you will receive a car park pass which goes on the dashboard and then you can park the car literally outside the door, which is really handy. Don't worry about driving into the ZTL to get there either. Unlike other cities, there are traffic wardens that check passes rather than cameras to catch you! We were told that Breakfast was not served at the B&B it was served at a little café around the corner. We turned up the next morning and told the waitress we were Guilio's guests and she served us lovely coffee and pastries! That was a nice touch as it was nice to have a short walk before breakfast. The icing on the cake however was that Guilio contacted us to say that nobody was in the apartment the day we were checking out so we could stay as late as we wanted! This meant we checked out around 1pm rather than 10am as we expected! We had a flight home from Bari at 10pm, so this extra chill time and lie in made a huge difference to our return journey so we were very grateful for that! If we return to Lecce we will be staying here again!

“Lovely quiet B & B with charming host and esy walking distance of sites”

What a lovely find - quiet, clean and well equipped,. There is on street parking but we had a ground floor room with it's own little patio ad secure parking - what a bonus. 10 minutes walk to major sites in city centre - local bar La Rustica great for proper pizzas and breakfast when the B & B wasn't available. Real gentleman host Guilio who was so kind and helpful with information. Fridge in room and also able to use main kitchenette to cool off prosecco and beers - hic! Also able to help ourselves to tea or coffee throughout the day. Nice room and en- suite- plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space. Excellent base for exploring the heel of Italy - roads not manic and easy to get around. Would highly recommend this B & B!

“Great Lecce Location!”

We stayed at the 2 bed/2 bath apartment next door to the B&B. Guilio was a gracious host -- he provided fruit, yogurt, pasta and sauce to kickstart our 4-day stay in May. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped. It was also extremely convenient for our rental car with parking right outside the door (using the parking pass the owner provides). We were able to take day trips to Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli with approx. 60-90 minutes to each. Getting to the highways is pretty easy from this location and you don't have to battle a lot of traffic. And, the location is a 10-minute walk from the historic center. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a base for your Puglia vacation.

“Lecce stay”

Good position with secure car park. Adequate bathroom. Good breakfasts. The owner explained that we could use the kitchen area to make hot drinks at anytime. Our room was quite large, but the absence of a window meant we had to have the aircon on to stop it being hot and stuffy.
