Family vacation in the Hotel Baia die Nora in July 2025: Checkin/Checkout was both super friendly and very efficient. The facility / garden is really fantastic. A lot of very well maintained plants and lawn. The only negativ part of the environment were the Birds, specially the Seagulls. I've no issues with Birds but in this Hotel are so many seagulls which are screaming like hell, never had such an experience. It almost sounds like you visit a zoological bidpark. We had a room with a gallery. That's very nice with 1 teenager who has his extra bed and small floor upstairs. The Rooms are nice and clean. Only the bathrom was a little to small. Air condition works well and is not too loud. The only negative part of the Rooms: they are very poorly soundproofed. So besides the loud seagulls we could hear when our neighbors had to visit the bathroom. If you are a "longsleeper", this Hotel might not be the best choice. Room cleaning starts from 08:00h and they are super loud when they clean one of the neighbors rooms, it's almost impossible to sleep together with the screaming seagulls. The private beach is very close and we always got deckchairs and an umbrella, which is included for hotel guests. The Beach/Sea is nice and clean. We just missed any kind of drinks. You have to bring it by yourself since there is zero service nor a kiosk. We would have spend some money on cocktails but there was no offering at all. A pity. The pool has 3 parts. The standard including the Pool bar, a deep one over 2.20 Meters depth and a small one which was a little warmer including some bubbles. All are clean and also the deckchairs are very comfortable if you catch one. As usual, there are a lot of towels blocking deckchairs. We always counted more towels than persons. Anyway, we could always manage to find a place. The Pool bar opens from 16:00h and they offer a wide choice of drinks including virgin cocktails. The prices are very fair / affordable. (€10.- for a Pina Colada) But the quality was only average since they focus on much ice to save on the Alcohol. I would be open to pay a little more like 15.- for a really good cocktail... Last but not least the restaurant. The restaurant is really nice when you can sit outside. It's not a la card, but they offer a choice of 3 different 1. courses and 2. courses which we usually could pre-order for the dinner during the breakfast. Unfrotunatley, the food was only average during the whole week. We expected the usual and well known great italian food and were a little dissapointed. Next time, I would skip the halfpension and go outside. The food was not bad, but it was also never really good... just average... which was a dissapoinment for us. What I really liked is the wine card... they have a great choice with some really quality sardinian red's. The Breakfast was more or less standard. Nothing special but nothing to complain. In conclusion: + nice facility, very well maintained garden + nice and clean rooms + nice wine card + friendly staff - crazy loud and annyoing seagulls and pigeons - loud rooms / non soundproofed - a little dissapointing average food - no drinks at all on the private Hotel beach I would rate this hotel with a 3.8

“Could be improved”

We visited here as 2 couples in June. Good first impressions, gardens and outside areas very well maintained. I had requested a higher floor room but due to a wedding they couldn’t accommodate this I was told. Given 2 garden rooms which were nice, could do with some tlc especially the outdated bath… more

We visited here as 2 couples in June. Good first impressions, gardens and outside areas very well maintained. I had requested a higher floor room but due to a wedding they couldn’t accommodate this I was told. Given 2 garden rooms which were nice, could do with some tlc especially the outdated bathroom but spacious rooms, clean and well maintained. Pula is a taxi ride away where all the main restaurants are it is lovely though, lovely atmosphere and live music some nights. I have to say though we were not made welcome by the staff at the hotel, with the exception of the reception staff. We were totally ignored at breakfast and the bar waitress was not very friendly. We had idea why this was as they were making conversation with many Italians. Maybe there was a language barrier as there was very little spoken English. Overall a nice enough hotel but I wouldn’t rush to return.
