We have just returned after a 7 day holiday and all we can say is thank you. We had a fabulous stay from start to finish. The rooms we booked were superior and had an amazing view. They were spacious and well equipped with water replenished daily. The food was of a wide range and something for everyone. We were lucky to have a table outside and this was very welcomened on a warm evening. The drinks were readily available and of great quality, lovely bar staff who were helpful and always happy. Big shoutout to the fabulous reception staff who were helpful, knowledgable and welcoming. We ventured to the sister hotel and the staff there were lovely as were the the staff on the beach. Yes there are mosquitoes but we were provided with plug ins and took plenty of spray, on a positive at least there weren’t wasps. All in all a fabulous holiday one where we didn’t want to leave and therefore have booked to be back next July! Thank you again and we will see you soon with my fly zapper and Prosecco glass) 🙌🙌🙌

“Good, but with a few areas which need improvement”

We are a South African family of seven who spent a week all inclusive at Sentido Orosei. Our first impression wasn't the best as it was difficult to find parking (we had a van) and there was no help with the luggage, even though we had a toddler, bags, push chair, etc. We had flown from Rome and hired a car at Olbia Airport which is about 1 and a half hours away depending on traffic. No explanation of the entertainment at the other hotel was given, nor anything about the kid's club. It was also not explained that the padel courts could only be booked by people from the other hotel, even though they are closer to ours. Our rooms were close together which was nice, but the one room (number 218, which we paid the same for as 217) was in a dark, pokey corner and had the neighbour's balcony looking right into their room. We immediately requested a change, which they were adamant they could not give us until 3 days later. Their TV sound did not work either, but that was repaired immediately. There are no English TV Channels at all. When my daughter did move rooms 3 days later, they did get an upgraded room which looked onto the pool and had been renovated, as the bathroom was much nicer than the ones we had in the other rooms. The plug point in 217 was also broken when we arrived, and that was also repaired promptly and the shower did leak, which they repaired once, but it still leaked after that. The rooms were clean and the minibar had the water replaced when it was empty. The aircon was very good too as we were there in a heatwave. No tissues are provided. Mosquito pads are provided. Please bring repellent for the evenings as there are hundreds of mosquitoes when sitting outside. The food is served in a large dining area, and is of a high quality most of the time, with much of it being freshly cooked. You get allocated one seat for the duration of the trip which is logistically easier for the hotel when it is full, but also a bit annoying when your table is the furthest one away. One request is that the lighting in the restaurant should be turned down, as it is very bright and there is no ambiance. The complaints I have about the meals is that the food has no labels on it, so you are not sure what you are eating (bad for people with allergies), and that some of the dishes ran out before the end of the dining time. This applied occasionally to focaccia, and often to desserts and ice cream. The cold food selection, fruits and salads were always of a good quality, but the hot food at breakfast was awful. The eggs were not nice, covered in oil, and no omelette choices available, and the bacon and sausages were dripping in oil and unappetising. There was a good choice of hot food at lunch and dinner, and the pork especially was exceptional. We found that the drinks available on the all inclusive were more than adequate and we did not have to wait too long for them. It might have been nice to have them served in glasses at dinner time, as the plastic wastage must be very high. There was one person playing piano at night, but mainly sang in Italian, and we did not know about the entertainment at the twin hotel. The pool area is very spacious, with enough loungers available. Towels are only given twice a week or at a fee for more often which is a bit unhygienic in my opinion. It would have been nice to have some music around the pool and possibly some pool activities like aqua, etc. The pool surface is quite rough, and my grandson cut his chin on it. The young lady at reception was very helpful when we asked for disinfectant and plasters (sorry cannot remember her name). It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and there were more than enough loungers when were were there, although the beach entertainment and crowds arrived on our last day, so I'm not sure if there would be enough loungers all season. There is a playground for children on the way to the beach, and luckily they cut the grass while we were there as it was very long when we arrived. We caught the train into Orosei one evening for a change in food. It is quite pricey at €5 pp when you have a family of seven, but was a fun activity for my grandson. The town was very nice with lots of restaurants available and a market, which we went back to in our hired van another night. The pharmacy was also helpful when we needed more plasters for my grandson's cut. Boat trips to the Gulf of Orosei are available from the jetty which is nearby. Check-out was easy although again no help was given with luggage. I would recommend this hotel as it is in a beautiful part of Sardinia which wasn't to packed in the busy summer months, but there are a few improvements which I would like to be seen to be made.

This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are slightly outdated but are kept very clean by the cleaners, they do a really good job at making sure it’s kept clean and tidy without touching your belongings. The pool is really big and great fun however the floor of the pool is full of grit and broken bits, I did cut my feet on this, I don’t think the pool was cleaned once in our week stay. There was never an issue with sunbeds, we would come down at like 9-10 each morning and always get 9 beds together which was great and no stress. Food is really yummy, some nights better than others but overall we enjoyed the food. My grandparents room was filled with mosquitos, they came out covered in bites which was not good. We booked 4 rooms, the only annoying thing was the 3 of the rooms were put in the sister hotel and we had to walk over each day as we weren’t allowed to eat or use the amenities at the hotel we were actually staying at which was weird. Entertainment was a bit slow, just a guy on a piano each night and not very up beat at all never the less he was good. Theirs is no music or entertainment at the pool each day. We had a very relaxing holiday and were happy with our stay, they have a train ride in to town multiple times a day which was helpful.
