Reception desk was very pleasant. A big shout out to Romina, Yana, Madelena and the others to make my trip so enjoyable. They were brilliant. The bar tenders were always smiling and happy to serve. The staff at the breakfast room were so efficient and professional. Breakfast was brilliant. The food at the beach club was awesome. The toiletries provided in the bathroom and tea and coffee amenities in room the room were all available and more than good. Rooms are clean. Sea view is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning property. The beach is paradise. The resort has lovely chill out cabanas all over the property. Would like to definitely come back.

I’ve been staying at the Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo regularly for long periods, and every time the experience is exceptional. The hotel combines true luxury with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The service is always professional, attentive, and personalized. The staff genuinely care about guests and consistently go above and beyond to make every stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and perfectly maintained, with stunning views and a very relaxing atmosphere. The location is also perfect — peaceful, elegant, and close to everything Porto Cervo has to offer. The restaurants, facilities, and overall ambiance are all top-class. After many stays here, I can honestly say the quality remains consistently outstanding. It’s one of the few places where luxury feels natural and effortless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Sardinia.

“Not a 4 star, room for improvement”

We travelled as a large group for a bachelorette party in May. Upon arrival one pair was placed in a room far away from the rest of us and the room was in very poor condition. When asked if they could move to the same block as the rest we were told the hotel was full despite it looking very empty. This manager was very unhelpful and told us to come back tomorrow, she was rude and then asked us to give a review despite the poor service and the fact we had been in the hotel a few hours only?! The next morning we saw one room become available so asked for our friends to be moved there which was accommodated for by Dorina. Rooms: Some have been refurbished but still need some final touches. They are not very modern but are clean and functional. Each room seemed different, some did not have a sofa whilst others did for example. Food: Very limited and expensive menu in the restaurant for lunch. Caesar salad included very small pieces of chicken and no dressing. The waiter spilled a glass of Coke on one of us so meal was deducted for her only. However Danielo was very helpful and offered to make some special pasta dishes that tasted authentic and fresh. Breakfast is okay, there is a variety but food is left out uncovered and so flies are constantly landing on it. One guest was told she couldnt fill her water bottle during breakfast as 'food and drink cannot be taken out'. Pretty ridiculous. However the breakfast was okay and good enough. Beach restaurant is very pricey and we didnt eat there. Pool: Very nice, lots of sun loungers available but I suspect if you go in high season that wouldnt be the case as the pool area is small. Another small pool located next door also but we didnt use it. The bar staff by the pool are nice and friendly however 5 euros for a Coke seems steep. Beach: We didnt go to the beach as umbrellas were chargeable and it looked very busy as it is open to the public. Other: NOISE! This hotel is extremely noisy at night and during the morning. The bathroom windows do not close so you can hear every conversation. The maids talk constantly in the morning so no chance of a lay in, they also came into the room whilst we were asleep and did not clean the room one day even though we left the sign on the door. Incorrect charges at check out but staff were helpful. We asked for a late check out as our flight was late and one room was allowed to be kept until 12pm. Overall this isnt a 4 star hotel, its very pretty but there are a lot of improvments to be made. They asked for a review so they can become a 5 star but thats unlikely in my opinion. Despite this we had a fun bachelorette weekend.
