This hotel resides a couple of km outside Porto Rotondo. So a rental car is needed, even when the bus stops right outside. The hotel is quiet with nice outside areas. The size is small so there is easy to get sunbeds by the pool. The apartment was a good fit for our family of 2 adults and 2 youths. We arrived in the middle of the siesta, so we had to make a small roundtrip in the area to wait for the reception to open. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, but her english was very limited. After installing ourself in the apartment we found out that aircondition did not work. But the hotel fixed this immediately. Good! The beds was not that good. The double bed was soft in the middle, resulting that we rolled down to the middle of the bed. But we survived 12 nights. The aircondition is in the living room, so the cooling in the bedroom was not that good. But a small window with mosquito net helped. We had to remind the hotel about changing the towels. We had only one shift during our 12 nights stay. There was no cleaning either. This is too limited service. WiFi coverage was very utstabile and limited. It seemd to be under-dimentioned. The pool area was small but OK. There were no umbrellas, but the sunbeds were quite new. The pool is closed between 1230 and 1530. This might be because of lunch time in the restaurant and siesta for the pool guard. The restaurant is actually the best in the area. We tried several, but ended often back at the hotel. The overall meny in Sardinia are based on sea food. The hotel served also good meat and pizza. A good choice for our youths. There is a local beach 500m down the road. It is not the best, but ok. A 5 minutes drive and you have an optional of several great beaches. Stella di Gallura is a know restaurant in the area an in our view the best. Thea serve varied food, but mostly based on sea food. They serve also lunch dishes between 1200 and 1430. The prices in Sardinia are rocket high, but this restaurant is mid-ranged. If you want beach life, several beaches are in range of 5 min drive. Our choice was Spiaggia del Marinella. A great beach with sunbeds and restaurants. But be aware of the high prices. €25 for 2 beds and an umbrella.The water is clear. In the horizon you see the luxury yachts. A similar beach, but with one step up on the luxury scale, is Spiaggia del Liscia Ruja. We got a "unique" offer of 4 sunbeds, 2 umbrellas, 4 bathing towels, available toilet and parking for €80. The sunbeds had soft leather matrass, so the luxury feeling was good. Seemed to be a good offer since parking alone had a price of €20. Porto Rotondo is a nice small town. You park right outside the center and walk in small streets without cars. The centre is around Piazza San Marco. We recommend the local ice cream bar. You must also go to Porto Cervo. This is the billionaire´s playground. Prices are rocket high, but window shopping is free. In the harbor several luxury yachts gives a stunning view, and a look into their dream world. Some also bring their luxury cars like the 5-6 parked in a special area the day we had a look. All with Arabian number signs.

We got a really good deal for these apartments so was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them. They were spacious, clean (upon arrival) and serviceable. However we had no maid service during our stay, I would recommend that no one uses the cost hangers I placed a new pair of white trousers … more

We got a really good deal for these apartments so was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them. They were spacious, clean (upon arrival) and serviceable. However we had no maid service during our stay, I would recommend that no one uses the cost hangers I placed a new pair of white trousers on them and the evening I went to wear them I couldn’t as they were stained from the dirt off hangers - trousers ruined. Porto Rotondo is about a 40 minute walk away bring a torch as it a risky walk down there. It’s expensive also in the restaurants around there. A car is definitely needed. We’d return to Sardinia but not this area unfortunately.

“Fair price for Porto Rotondo”

It's a fairly well kept apartment hotel located quite close to Porto Rotondo. We chose this for a few days due to the pool area and their ability to host larger families. It's a fairly well kept apartment hotel located quite close to Porto Rotondo. We chose this for a few days due to the pool area and their ability to host larger families. While the pools are great for kids, it's closed for 3 hours a day. The reason is that a restaurant is built around it. However, almost noone eat lunch there. With smaller kids who can't handle the beach every day, this is a dealbraker. Beds are somewhat uncomfortable and rooms are very utilitarian. Kitchen solution is fine, you can cook here. Balcony view in the upper floors is really good, overlooking the bay. Price was fair, so if you just need a place to sleep and eat, this is a good option in Porto Rotondo if you have to go there.
