We spent 9 nights in absolutely bliss (no I am not overstating). We have been to 100s of hotels throughout the world, and this one just felt right (tried a booking for December, but wait listed, could not wait and went to Portugal), but I knew I had to book this hotel, and did so, and boy was I glad. We arrive very late, we had made arrangements for a cold plate to placed in our room, but they kept the kitchen open so we could enjoy, Luca thank you, and Valaria, our first night in the restaurant would not disappoint for the rest of our stay. The room was a exactly as pictured, warm, modern yet cozy. We loved the bedding, mattress, towels (pillows were handled well later). The products were also great. The room was spotless and the service staff made sure we had two waters daily as well taking care. The spas are separated into two areas: Water and Massage. The 33 degree indoor outdoor pool is lovely with great views, also spa areas that a press of a button provide some great relief (especially the standing ones). The Massage rooms are in the same character as the rest of the hotel. The therapists are top drawer and the options can adapt to almost every need. I did have a small hiccup with Nicola (we just did not gel, not his fault), and then the music kept coming in and out and was totally annoying, having to ask to turn it off was odd, as he should have sensed it was not working. The other treatments were absolutely perfect, as were the Finnish, Bio and Steam saunas, great that they are separated and in nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Breakfast, the buffet is amazing and has just about everything one would need. Freshly made eggs are available and Daniele did a great job. We had a small request, Sheep Yogurt (was served at the buffet on the first day), they always found some for us. Dinners were varied and we never felt limited to a selected few choices. The food was amazing and well presented. The staff at breakfast and dinner (while usually the same) need to be commended, especially: Emanuel, Daniel, Rosario (2), Gianvito, Gabriel and all the others. Other staff compliments: Silvia, Vivian, Maria Chiara and Dario. If this is too long, it just shows how much we enjoyed, it was a privilege to be able to stay here. We were rejuvenated and relaxed, which is sometimes rare on vacation. So Adler did succeed.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. If you are a foodie, love the quiet countryside, and love saunas and massages, this is the perfect place for R & R (rest and relaxation). The service was excellent. The staff during our stay treated us so well. From the front desk to the cleaning ladies, everyone made us feel special. We had to leave the resort at 2:30am to catch a 6:30am flight so they packed us a breakfast to eat on the way to the airport which is 2 ½ hours to Catania. We did not know that the Palermo airport was much closer. We tried to change our flights after we got there but it wasn’t possible. So my one advice is to fly into Palermo or make your way back to Catania with an extra day at a hotel closer to the airport. I saw some critical reviews of the breakfast but there was plenty of food (a cereal table, a cheese selection, tons of homemade breads, eggs made your way, fruit, cakes/cookies- which I don’t eat for breakfast, gluten free selections, etc.) For European style breakfast, it was one of the best. Dinner was like a Michelin meal every night. Loved every minute there and will return again! Thank you for a beautiful time!

I visited this resort together with my mother, we stayed for 5 nights. Overall, it was a nice experience, but it did not leave me longing to come back asap. What we enjoyed: - The location & panorama: You might not have the most perfect view of the sea from all rooms, but you have great vistas from all main areas (pool, restaurants, especially the SPA). - The serenity. Even though the hotel was fully booked, you did not feel it. Everything felt relaxed. - The spacious room. - The broad selection of high-quality fitness classes: I especially enjoyed the variety of Yoga they were offering. Room for improvement: - The breakfast: For one, at that price category, there should be a small offering of dishes that is served to your table. I do not like standing in line for my poached eggs or else. Secondly, the choice is always the same - again, this is fine for a "regular" hotel, I would expect more in this category. - The dinner: We never got our main course hot. Which was a pity, as it was excellently seasoned! We experienced the whole range from cold to lukewarm, which is not good when having a beef filet. Additionally, while the hotel was serving many deliciously-looking deserts, if you are not allowed to eat dairy products, you have to stick to sorbet or fruit. Again - this is not a huge issue, but I would expect a bit more in this regard. Things you should know: - There are many rooms that are facing the pool, but also a range of rooms facing the spa area and a lot of green (and nothing else). You have beautiful sunsets there, but might miss the sea view a bit (at least from your terrace). - The friendliness in service differs, at least in our experience: Great and friendly team at the reception, partially stressed service staff at the restaurant. Many were friendly, others were just stressed and in a hurry. Maybe the long season was weighing down on them. Summing it up: This is a beautifully built resort, very clean, many friendly team members and good food. Nevertheless, to get 5 out of 5 and make me want to return, a few things were missing.
