Hotel Noto Marina

“Peaceful and beautiful”

We stayed at the Residence (not the hotel) which is a dependance towards Noto. The room was nice, the common kitchen was not available due to Covid19 preventive measures, but the owner was available to solve the problem. The room is nice, the swimming pool very beautiful and comfortable. A nice stay

Located in SE Italy the hotel is a one storey small structure. The rooms are simple but comfortable, the place is clean and kept clean and what sets it out for me above others is the staff. Universally friendly, helpful and willing. It's not the Hilton, it doesn't pretend to be, it's not fancy but you're always assured of a warm welcome. All the rooms have fridges and someone else description of it being a bit IKEA like is spot on, wish I had thought of it! Breakfast is taken in the restaurant at the end of the drive, about 20 yards away and is adequate without being special. Would I go back, without hesitation. The beach is only a few yards away, to me it was idyllic.

This hotel is a small, "no-frills" hotel that is relatively clean. It is walking distance to the beach (tip... continue down to the end of the street, the beach is much nicer there). The beach adjacent to the hotel was one of the nicest I've visited not only in Sicily but in Europe in general. The hotel provides breakfast and even loans out beach umbrellas. There was ample parking on the street in front of the hotel for my rental car. The town is small and quaint with only a few restaurants. One major frustration I had while staying here occurred one evening when I returned to my hotel room at around 5:00 PM. I came to the room to find the cleaning staff's key in the door. My room's bed was made, but the rest of the room was not cleaned. The cleaning staff's cart was in the hallway in front of my room. I went to the front desk, and nobody was there. I checked the entire property, and no staff whatsoever could be found. There were other guests in the lobby that said they had been waiting over 30 minutes and seen no sign of any hotel employees. This is simply unprofessional and inconsiderate to leave keys in my door, abandon the hotel, and essentially allow anyone that walks by free access into my room. This not only could risk theft but potentially could jeopardizes the safety of guests in other circumstances. Had I not came back at that time, how long would the keys have been in the door for? Would my room had been robbed. It's simply unprofessional and careless behavior by the staff of the hotel. Finally, after another 30 minutes or so a woman finally showed up at the reception to work her shift. She seemed indifferent to the fact that the cleaning staff left the keys in the door and abandoned the property. This behavior is simply unacceptable and no legitimate hotel should be managed this way. The wifi was incredibly slow and unreliable.
