The "Poggio del Sole Resort,” originated in 1879 as an old – fashioned rural residence, was carefully restructured and expanded in 2006 by the present owners.The property is located in a strategic position, surrounded by hills, a 15-minute drive from Marina di Ragusa along the coast and 10 km from the center of Ragusa.
The esteemed “Dell’Angelo” restaurant, in the refined setting of the old farm barn, will take you on a long journey through Mediterranean flavours, with traditional products of the land and delicacies of the sea. “Excellence has a name.”

“Very nice stay in Sicily”
Large hotel with spacious outdoor pool, nice indoor bar, lounge and restaurant. Rooms clean and comfortable, many with balconies. Traveled with tour group and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Dining spaces and options well planned.Short walk to waterfront with other restaurants

“Mouldy and needs a Reno”
The minute I went into my room you could smell the mould. The bathroom needs either a deep clean or a total Reno, Carpets in the hallways were faded and buckled - major trip hazard. “Not to recommend”
Very basic services. Rooms are ok, breakfast is in an upleasant echoing space. The selection is very limited except for sweets In between and for lunch you have to move to other places because there is no offer. Most of the staff is unfriendly
