It is a beautiful location. Very relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable and the food amazing. We had a fantastic golf week. There is lots to see when not playing golf. We went up Etna and also to Taormina and Messina. The staff are all fantastic and can't do enough top help. We stayed in a duplex with a view of the club house and the 18th green. It was very comfortable. It is very rural - long winding roads to get there. You need a car to leave the site. We found the wifi un predicatable but downloaded at reception and used our own devices.

“Recommendable experience”

Very nice hotel and golf resort. Very friendly personnel, excellent meals. Golf course is demanding with narrow fairways, interesting environment.

We visited as a group of 7 whilst travelling around Sicily in the summer. We had 2 keen golfers in our group, hence the weekend spent at Picciolo. The weather was mixed and the staff tried their best to accommodate us. There are limited activities to do when the weather is bad and it is a shame there is not a bar / restaurant open throughout the afternoon. Each evening we would be waiting in the bar off the lobby for a drink around 5pm! Make sure you bring water as this is not provided, even in the rooms. Inside the hotel was also very cold, we would be sat inside shivering. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall, the facilities were good though the spa was small and had to be booked prior to visiting. My partner had a massage which he enjoyed. The inside pool is ok and the spa facilities (sauna etc) got quite full. We did not have to pay additional due to our Hilton status but would’ve been disappointed if we had! The food in the restaurant was better than I had expected. We enjoyed the pasta and the wines in the evenings. The staff seemed stressed due to the influx of guests but tried to be attentive. It would be nice to have more places to sit during the day and evening for a drink/snack. Clearly a lot of people must spent time in their rooms but as a group we wanted to enjoy time together. The golfers enjoyed the golf, however, we visited when a tournament was taking place which meant our tee time got moved. We eventually started the round but the first 9 holes took at least 2 hours. We had to skip some holes due to this, which was disappointing considering the high cost. Our stay fit its purpose and overall we did enjoy it, despite the constructive feedback!

“Worth our stay!”

Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean & rooms were comfortable . As in general it was a good hotel but for the location & hotel price is a little bit expensive. Also we tried there Restaurant that it comes out it was a good one . Service was great & everyone is an english speaking .
