Stayed for seven nights, bed and breakfast although half and full board are available. Good, solid-feeling hotel with very good quality, well- maintained finishes and fittings from an era when things were built to last. The slightly dated air adds charm but don't worry: the aircon works, the bathrooms are good, the beds are comfy and the rooms are spotlessly clean, airy and nicely, if neutrally, decorated. The staff are helpful and friendly. We had a room with a small balcony on a pedestrianised street at the front. If you don't like the noise in the evening from the nearby restaurants the balcony doors and shutters provide almost total soundproofing. Breakfast, presided over by the unfailingly courteous and cheerful Angela, is in a beautiful courtyard with Jasmine and lemon trees. Good quality buffet. We liked everything about this place. The beach is a couple of minutes' stroll away, and the hotel has a private sunbed area, included in the room price. There is a spa on the roof terrace, at an additional charge, which looked nice but we didn't use.

I highly recommend this boutique hotel in San Vito Lo Capo. Despite being located in the centre of town, the rooms are perfectly insulated and you can hardly hear any noise coming from outside. I highly recommend this boutique hotel in San Vito Lo Capo. Despite being located in the centre of town, the rooms are perfectly insulated and you can hardly hear any noise coming from outside. This is very important as we met many tourists on the beach complaining about their hotels and the noise at night. Food is excellent as well as room service. Our room was spotlessly clean every day! There is a great choice of cakes at breakfast but less so in terms of savoury food… it’s great for a day or two, but then maybe a breakfast in a local bar just does the same! San Vito is full of bakeries and patisseries! It’s walking distance from the beach. We are definitely going back!

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of September. We had been advised to book a room overlooking the street, as garden side can be noisy. We arrived late at night and were concerned that we had made a bad choice, the street was very busy, but inside it was quite quiet. Our room was furnished in a traditional style and was very comfortable with an ensuite shower room. The breakfast was quite adequate, with a vast array of pastries, cakes, fruit and meats - but nothing hot. The restaurant is delightful - it is also open to the public and gets very, very busy. There were queues most night outside of people waiting to get in. Even if you are a guest of the hotel - you need to book. We enjoyed a pre dinner ( and sometimes post dinner ) drink on the 'terrace' outside the front of the hotel, where Matteo provided outstanding service. The staff here were outstanding, nothing was too m much trouble, and Angela whizzed around at breakfast knowing everyones name and drinks orders ! Everyone was charming - but English was not spoken by many staff. Nevertheless, there was always someone on hand who did speak English so we had no problems.
