Beautiful views and lovely clean comfortable rooms, the atmosphere is great with a range of music playing at each pool, mostly relaxing and known songs. The resort is in a great location and really close to several archeological parks with great history and Ancient Greek temples - a must see if you stay here. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely, especially those working at the pool bar; Vito, Adele, Giaco Mo and Giuseppe. the beach is about a 10 minute walk away but easily accessible from the resort and there is a shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes reliably from the hotel to the beach, which takes about 2 minutes in the vehicle. There is a buffet service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a tasting menu/pizzeria at the end of the resort for an alternative dinner. The buffet has many tables outside and plenty of options routinely which are all of a fantastic standard. The buffet serves typically salad options as well as small tasting chef specialties and the classic chips, but also incorporates a taste of Sicilian authenticity and the classic Italian pasta options with a rich food culture.

My partner and I spent a full week at Mangia’s Selinunte Resort and it exceeded every expectation. The staff truly made the stay: reception, housekeeping, chefs, waiters, and activity coordinators were all friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about their work. The rooms and communal areas (pools, sports facilities) were immaculate throughout. The food was a real highlight — authentic Italian cuisine, fresh and full of flavour, with excellent variety on the all-inclusive package. The activities programme was equally impressive, including cooking classes, aqua aerobics, dancing, and Italian-themed evenings. Special thanks to Rosita and Alessia, whose energy and professionalism made every session even more enjoyable. The beach was beautiful and just minutes away, with a free shuttle, sunbeds, umbrellas, and water sports (paddleboards etc.) all included. Overall, excellent facilities, great food, and an outstanding team. We’d return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday in Sicily.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and they have two great sized pools and plenty of places to sit. We opted not to hire a car and booked an excursion through the hotel to visit Sciacca and this was only 30 euros for two people. It was a lovely trip out and just the right amount of time. They also offer other trips and experiences varying prices and days. There isn’t anything in walking distance of the hotel but that didn’t bother us as we enjoyed relaxing. They offer a shuttle to the beach every 20 minutes, the walk to the beach is a board walk which takes about 10 mins. It wouldn’t be accessible for people with disabilities but is fine if you’re prepared to walk. We wore trainers which was a lot better than sandals. There is no bar at the beach so make sure to take drinks. It’s a lovely beach with free loungers and you can use paddle boards/paddle boats. The two pools are both a good size, the “kids” pool has jacuzzi settings and feels like a hot tub and the larger pool is in a relaxing setting and large enough you can swim or relax. Our room was fine, it isn’t massive but has what you need and the cleaners changed the towels every day. We found the all inclusive food to be fine, what you expect with a lot of variation for different tastes. I would say the only downside would be for soft drinks you only get them in a tiny cup so it seems like two sips and it’s gone. We didn’t really take part in any activities but there is plenty on offer and the reps and staff are all friendly and always say hello. We had a lovely week and would return if we were looking for a great location to chill out in.

Beautiful hotel, the grounds are gorgeous and laid out well, it’s nicely lit in the evenings, the two pools are styled very differently which made for nice variety. One is a classic hotel pool, really nice. The other is styled as more of a pond (in a good way), it shallow and chill with grass around it for the loungers, but then there are two kids only water slides in it too. Personally I’d have put the kids slides in the main pool and left the second pool to be a more chill adult vibe. lovely pool bars too. The beach… well, we went once but didn’t go again because the sea was really freezing! The sea there is quite deep quite quickly so the swimming area doesn’t go out very far. There were loads of loungers and friendly staff who set up parasols etc and it looked like you could easily borrow paddle boards. But we didn’t because the sea was freezing and also quite rough! The shuttle bus there was very quick and easy, but we decided to walk back which isn’t much slower it’s only a 10-15 min walk really. First week: Loads of good quality loungers, always got a table in the buffet easily, hardly any queues. Buffet was good, lots of choice every day. Our first week was perfect, early July. But our second week which coincided with more school holidays starting it definitely got too busy for the hotel - started to run out of loungers, people bagging loungers for the day from 7am etc. a couple of times we didn’t manage to find a table in the buffet restaurant because there just weren’t enough staff to cope. The staff however were all exceptional, they worked very hard and were polite and helpful there just weren’t enough of them for peak time. The cleaning and housekeeping staff were all incredibly polite and friendly too. Rooms were high quality. Bathrooms clean and pleasant. Great air con, and the wifi was fast and always worked even down by the pools. There’s a lovely giant indoor lounge to retreat to when it’s too hot outside. We had some nice times chilling there playing cards. Selinunte Archaeological park was the highlight. Amazing place. Literally 10 minutes drive away. We were blown away, you can get up so close inside and on all the temples. Highly recommend. We also enjoyed the sunset visit to the Valley of the Temples which was about an hour and a half drive, but worth it. Our other trip was to the Salt Pans in Marsala, which was a really interesting visit, for us and our 3 teens. Marsala itself though was a disappointment. It had one lovely old street but other than that I’d not bother, it’s a sprawling industrial town. Overall, we had a great holiday, relaxing, we ate well, the staff were all great, loved it. Really good hotel, I’d recommend especially outside of the absolute peak school holidays.
