The resort consists of several farm buildings converted into high quality well equipped appartments. Our two bedroom apartment had one room with a large double bed and a room with a huge wooden bunk bed which had a separate wooden set of stairs to reach the top bunk. My daughter really like it. The bathroom had modern appliances and a particularly good shower. Vittoria was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The resort has an excellent swimming pool complex with turkish bath and a smaller whirlpool pool. The main pool was closed when we stayed at the start of April, but the smaller whirlpool was big enough for my daughter to have a good splash about and was a real bonus given the time of year. The best thing about the resort is it's location on top of a low hill surrounded by olive and lemon groves (the resourt is part of the farm). Home made olive oil and marmalades were available to buy (and very tasty.) The resort is only 10 minutes drive from the city of Siracuse and close to the motorway, but feels like a rural haven. We stayed for 4 days and were sad to leave.

“Amazing pool, good location for motorway, not close to Siracusa though”

We spent a week here, 2 adults and 2 boys. Lovely little cottages, although a bit dated. 2 good size bedrooms, comfy beds, ample wardrobe space, well equipped kitchen, huge fridge and freezer. We spent a week here, 2 adults and 2 boys. Lovely little cottages, although a bit dated. 2 good size bedrooms, comfy beds, ample wardrobe space, well equipped kitchen, huge fridge and freezer. Free parking and the resort is super high security, so we always felt safe. Cat and dogs on site, which my boys loved, but some might not. Pool is huge (20m?), very clean, very spacious, very sunny, very quiet (until my boys arrived!) with a small resistance training pool and a diving board. Really fantastic. This alone was worth the price of the accommodation and we used it every day, either first thing or after a day out exploring. Although we were close (spitting distance) from the motorway, I can honestly say we didnt hear it at all. At night, you close the windows and have the air con on and during the day, the cottages and pool are sheltered by wonderful mature trees and orchards. Actually having the motorway right there was handy as we drove to lots of amazing places with ease, such as Noto and Siracusa and the Pantalica necropolis. Siracusa is probably a ten minute drive, with lots of free on street parking near Ortigia too. Vittorialuisa, the lady in charge was helpful and always on hand to answer questions. We did struggle with some things though, such as the air con units, which are quite challenging, but worth the effort once they are on. It would have been handy to have some rules/instructions written down, to leave in the cottages (apologies again for waking you at 11pm because we couldn't get the air con to work...) There is also no room cleaning and our towels weren't changed for a week, although they did supply pool towels free of charge. All in all, a very pleasant surprise and a resort I would highly recommend, if you want a good base to explore the area. Thanks Resort Sant'Agostino!

“Could be so much better ”

We stayed two nights, whilst the place is clean and the pool is as pictured. It’s not what I expected, a longways from town if fact a long way from anything. Could be so much better if a bit more effort was made, no oil in the kitchen, but it’s olive farm that makes oil ( they even try to sell you… more

We stayed two nights, whilst the place is clean and the pool is as pictured. It’s not what I expected, a longways from town if fact a long way from anything. Could be so much better if a bit more effort was made, no oil in the kitchen, but it’s olive farm that makes oil ( they even try to sell you oil ). To get something for breakfast is a 15 minute drive, so again, why not a few simple items to get you going. The last place we stayed, had an open bottle of olive oil, vinegar, a few spices, small milk and some bread, nothing fancy, but who wants to buy a bottle of oil for one night. Why do I have to wear a swimming cap in the pool?
