“amazing hotel”

Barracuda is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. The pool is amazing with exotic plants and huge palm trees. the room was great and comfortable and the restaurants food was extremely tasty and well presented. the staff were very kind and professional. and a very short walk to the beach

We stayed In the Barracuda Hotel and It was a fantastic experience, it has wonderful huge palms , with a beautiful stylish swimming pool, impeccable service and very comfortable and clean rooms ...not to mention the exquisit food with everyday a superb new menu . The Location is super convenient is only few minutes from the beach , we enjoyed our staying so much and we are looking forward to go back as soon as we can.

Nice friendly hotel with lovely pool, nice gardens, nice breakfast, pleasant staff, pool bar didn't open until 4pm which seems strange and had to wait for someone to appear but cocktails were excellent and reasonable. Lots of lovely romantic secluded comfy canopied shady spots to sit but seem very underused and not especially taken care of a bit of sweeping up and dusting/wiping of these areas would improve it. Comfy sunbeds and Bali beds around the pool but some mattresses were a bit worn out and needed replacing. There was another bar hidden behind pool area but was closed so not sure if that was just for events looked like it could be nice if opened. Room was nice enough, comfy clean, lovely big walk in shower. We had a balcony room on 1st floor at end of the block next to fire escape so no noise from other rooms but a couple of times people on the fire escape (was it cleaners carrying their equipment) woke us up early with their clattering. Tiny balcony with no sun due to all the plants and foliage overgrowing onto the balcony was a bit disappointing I suppose it is good if you want the shade but being English we want the sun! Probably could have asked for a different room but we were fine with it. The clothes airer on balcony was rusty though so did not use and this needs fixing/replacing. Very close to beach and Town. Pool towels provided. Discount code given for ferry. A little bit more attention to maintenance is all that is needed. Overall a good stay would recommend.

We stayed here for 6 nights on a half-pension program with kids. The overall experience was very pleasant and there's a lot to like about the place, including the service, the arrangement of the outside space, cleanliness of the pool and particularly the food. The food deserves a specific mention. Breakfast is good though missing vegetables for those used to them and a bit limited on the warm dishes which are eggs/bacon. Dinner though is absolutely spectacular and we found ourselves tasting almost everything. In terms of the value proposition of the hotel that dinner is the shining star. The room we had (for 4) was spacious and kept very clean by room service. The A/C system worked perfectly, and the windows buffered well the limited noise from the outside. However, modern amenities such as USB charging station were absent, the wi-fi was slow, and most important, there was very weak warm water pressure, which becomes an issue when multiple people need to shower daily, perhaps more than once. A final oddity: in the room there is a capsule based coffee machine, but it is considered part of the mini bar and you are charged per capsule used. This is a bit strange given the nightly rate; one would expect tea/coffee to just be provided gratis.
