Just come back after one week on Elba island...to my raining Friuli! It was very sad! This hotel offers various positive characteristics: - delicious fish cuisine - professional staff at the restaurant and reception - relaxing evening piano bar - silent rooms (very simple interiors in fact but acceptable for a summer vacation) - kind animation staff (not invasive) Of course during peak periods the situation can be quite different. Luckily for us was a complete success. Enjoy!

“Nice hitel”

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was large with a balcony looking out over the bay. Breakfast was the usual continental style for a couple of days then at the weekend some extra, hot food, was added. The evening buffet was disappointing and we thought expensive for what it was. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was large with a balcony looking out over the bay. Breakfast was the usual continental style for a couple of days then at the weekend some extra, hot food, was added. The evening buffet was disappointing and we thought expensive for what it was. Not a lot of choice. The pool looked quite nice although we did not have time to use the facilities. We still had to pay the Club fee of €40 for it though. All in all we really enjoyed our stay on Elba it is a really beautiful island.

“Cheap, clean and comfortable”

Stayed here as a pit stop on the way to Calabria. We arrived late and guy on Reception very helpful. Asked for a room for 4 which was small but beds very comfortable. Room was clean as was en-suite. Stayed here as a pit stop on the way to Calabria. We arrived late and guy on Reception very helpful. Asked for a room for 4 which was small but beds very comfortable. Room was clean as was en-suite. Breakfast was good, lots of croissants, bread, slection of meat, cereal and toast. Coffee was also great. Staff in Resturant very helpful and one girl had excellent English. Asked for 2 bottles of water when leaving and they wouldn't take the money for them. Would definately recommend this Hotel as a stop-over.

“Total relax, close to the sea and lots of nature”

It is a nice hotel situated up on a little hill with sea view. It got a nice little pool, hotel bar, restaurant, sun bath terrace, tennis court, ping pong table and it takes 5-10 minutes to get down to the beach of Marina del Capo. It got parking spaces for everyone which is a big plus as almost everyone got there by car and do not want the stress of not finding a parking space. The hotel organized sport activities every day and evening shows every evening so you can never get board staying at Marina 2. We had half board and had a massive breakfast before leaving to the beach in the morning and a nice dinner when getting back in the evening. It might be more romantic to go out eating at different restaurants every evening but having the dinner ready just a minute walk from your room is such luxury comfort that I love to have during my holidays. The buffet dinner offered something for every one and even if the quality wasn't at a top class level we ate well every night. The only negative thing, that would make me think twice before getting back to Marina 2, is that we had to take the car to get down to the little center/ the port in the evening. It is just 5 minutes ride but it is not a street where you can walk in the evening so a car is a must. Marina 2 was in a nice and calm area with beautiful nature all around but it would had been nicer just to be able to step out straight in the center after dinner, but I guess you can't have it all. Another thing to add is that the owner of Marina 2 hotel also owns the aquarium which is just 2 minutes walk from the pool area and all guests got free tickets to visit it. And not only, we also got a guided tour one of the evenings which was very nice and interesting. A little plus to the hotel.
