We have been to Cabo multiple times and it's the first time we stayed at Breathless. We were traveling with our adult kids (22 and 24 years old). PRO - First, the location cannot be beat! We were able to walk right out to the marina, down to the Mango Deck and everything else was just a quick Uber away. The views from the room balconies were just incredible! I enjoyed sitting out there for morning coffee and in the evening before dinner. I saw many people complain about the noise of the boats in other reviews, but we didn't not experience that at all once inside the room. We loved all of the activity of the boats coming in and out! PRO - The beach and the pool experience were excellent! I will say, the main pool is quite a trek from the rooms. but the views from both the beach and the pool are fantastic. We also had EXCELLENT service each time we visited. Franco and Mariano were so fun, friendly and hard working. GREAT service all around. PRO - Overall service was excellent everywhere we visited, whether it was the front desk, the restaurants, the pool or even room service, I was very impressed with how friendly everyone was at all times. Made our stay so much more enjoyable. The resort was also extremely clean and tidy throughout from our rooms to the restaurants and even the restrooms at the pool. CON - Ok, unfortunately this is a big one and what impacted my overall rating. We were only there for 3 nights and the air conditioning was out in the entire resort for two of the three nights we were there. When we woke up on our final morning, our room was 86 degrees INSIDE, so needless to say, we got very little sleep. They were only able to offer a portable fan for our rooms. We all know how hot it is in Cabo in July, so to not have air conditioning for 2 out of our 3 days was incredibly disappointing. There was no relief anywhere in the resort as all of the common spaces were hot as well. While I do understand that mechanical failures can happen, I did see this compliant in other reviews, so it's obviously a reoccurring problem for them. Upon check out, the only compensation offered was Hyatt points, and I found that to be unacceptable. We paid much more to stay at this resort than others I was considering and absolutely expect to have air conditioning. So as much as I loved the location and the service at this resort, I would definitely hesitate to book here again until I was guaranteed this problem has been fixed.
