Sirena Del Mar was a really fun place to stay, and Ricky honestly made it even better. From the start, he was super friendly, always joking around, and easy to talk to, which made the whole place feel more fun and relaxed. He was always checking in and making sure people were having a good time. On New Year’s Eve, after the main performances ended and it was just the DJ playing, Ricky kept the night going instead of letting things die down. He got people dancing, hyped everyone up, and kept the energy strong for a long time. It ended up being one of the most fun parts of the night and something we’ll definitely remember. Thanks to Ricky for making our stay so fun and for bringing such good energy! We’d be really happy to see him again next year!! -A, K, & E

However, this resort is an excellent option for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This is a lowkey condo style property, great for families and retired adults. Definitely not a party location but a wonderful vacation. Uber to Walmart and various restaurants is a breeze. There was only one hour during spring break we struggled to get pool chairs. The location, pools and staff are amazing. The beautiful beach is down about 6 flights of stairs but it’s a beach you can get into in Cabo which is a big plus. I’d highly recommend bringing beach shoes to help with the rocks. As other reviewers mentioned it badly needs updating or at least repairs - for example my ceiling fan light worked intermittently while the fan shook and the valve in the shower has worn down so much we had difficulty shutting it off or turning down the temperature every time. Unfortunately the midday activities were way too loud ensuring you cannot find a peaceful spot on the property. The restaurant on site had some of our favorite meals of the trip; the service was wonderful. The food with the new chef is so good and they are very knowledgeable and helpful with gluten and dairy allergies - they offered to modify anything! I was disappointed Hyatt misrepresented the garden views. It was also frustrating there was no way to even pay for an upgrade because I used points - I called Hyatt twice, texted with the front desk, emailed the concierge the week before arrival, and asked at checkin (which Hyatt said was the only way).

We booked this hotel with hopes for a quiet and restful week at the beach with great views. After leaving, we feel we were short changed. When booking the hotel directly, they ask you if you would like a quiet room so we selected that because we are balcony people and love to sit outside in our own area during down time. When we arrived, we were given a pool view room right where activities are. We didn't fuss because it's a fairly calm resort and not a party resort right? Well...the daily non stop pool activities made sure it was loud most of the day. On top of that, they are doing all kinds of construction directly in front of our room and on the roof of our building. From the hours of 9am-5pm it was nothing but grinders,drills, hammers, you name it. They send out daily "apology" texts for the noise and say they are trying to make it a better place for future guests. What about your current guests?? It was impossible to sit outside and have a simple conversation because of the construction. Every staff member we met was lovely, the resort is clean and has AMAZING views. However, like others mentioned, they don't allow your own drinks or snacks at the pool and will send you texts to remind you to not do it. We found that odd since most rooms have full kitchens which promote your own cooking but don't you dare bring a tumbler of water to the pool. You need to pay for their $7 water. There are a handful of other odds and ends that just miss the mark and make this feel like it is not a 4 star resort. We will definitely return to Cabo but not to this resort.
