I stayed at Marella for few night, the location is excellent. The place is very well organized and maintained. We booked the penthouse that had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the price for the space is the best you could find. The place was huge, clean and had beautiful view. In addition the service was top notch, Jorge Montoya was helpful and we could reach out to him at anytime during the day, about anything. He will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome! We forgot a jacket when we left the hotel and he drove to meet our friends so we could get it. Joerge is a person that would make you come back just for his personality and kindness! Thank you so much for everything, the whole team was amazing!

“Good and bad”

The condo overall was excellent. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars. The light in the morning is to bright as the son becomes brighter. Hard to fall asleep if you had a late night. Also, when entering the property, some time it would take a while before they lifted the guard to let you in. Th… more

The condo overall was excellent. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars. The light in the morning is to bright as the son becomes brighter. Hard to fall asleep if you had a late night. Also, when entering the property, some time it would take a while before they lifted the guard to let you in. This portion did not make no sense. With todays technology they should give each guest a key card for the guard to lift automatically

“Nice looking but….”

The place is nice and it is clean. The location of this is not good. You are right between Cabo and San Jose and if you do not have a car it costs a lot to get to either place because of the long turn arounds on the highway. You are landlocked without a car with only an OXXO nearby. It is noisy… more

The place is nice and it is clean. The location of this is not good. You are right between Cabo and San Jose and if you do not have a car it costs a lot to get to either place because of the long turn arounds on the highway. You are landlocked without a car with only an OXXO nearby. It is noisy with the highway right in front, especially at night. You can hear anyone talking and carrying on in other condos above or beside you at night. The chairs have wood legs and scrape every time you move them so you get that from the condos above as well. The condo above us had parties every night. The first night we did not complain and it did not stop until after 2am. When I told them about it the next day, they said they would speak to them. The next night same thing and when I called, it was a took a good hour or more to shut it down. On the fourth night I was told it was not their responsibility to take care of it. We had terrible water issues with sometimes no hot water and then sometimes no water at all. We had a leak under the kitchen sink that they had to come twice to fix. You can smell other condos cooking through the hood fan in your kitchen. Our kitchen had bare minimum cooking supplies. There was no bowl to make a salad and nothing to cook veggies in like a casserole dish. When I asked if they had a tea towel I was told that whatever was in the condo was all we get. All in all we made it through the week but I will never do this again.
