Love this place, we been solaris member for 10 years and been to all of their resort but this is our first time here. You can tell that they are still renovating and some areas are not done. Even with that in mind the place is gorgeous, love the layout . But the best thing about solaris are the staff. They made the whole experience great. From the members bar. Guadalupe make our night special, she did an impromptu tequila tasting. She remember our conversations and made us drinks based of that and even will prep snacks before we arrive. The members pool bartenders are great very attentive. Victor and Luis. The wait staff are great specially Juan Paolo and Saul in Don gus / tavo. Roberto, Anna, Karina and Paz are all awesome. Orlando the sushi guy is great made use special sashimi and its delicious! Emiliano and entertainment staff are fun. The activities they do are great. Karol our concierge is great, she tend to our needs and made us feel at home. All and all, this place still have some work to be done but it's a great place. I see when it's all done its going to be awesome and a place that we always going back to.

“Home away from home”

I have been coming down to the Baja for 15 years and Solaris is like my other home! The staff, from event coordinator to house keepers everyone is first class. Great service, great atmosphere!

We stayed at the resort for 10 nights mid April. When we first arrived check in was quick, minus an attempted sales pitch to become a member. If you nicely say no thank you they leave you alone. This resort was perfect for a week of relaxation. It was quiet while we were there which was nice, and we never had to wait for tables and never had a hard time getting chairs by the pool. There is some entertainment as well. This was the perfect vacation for our family. Although a bit dated it was clean and beautiful. It’s my understanding that GR Solaris recently took over this hotel therefore they are likely slowly working on changing things I’d imagine in terms of things being outdated etc. The view was the light house was beautiful. The beach equally as beautiful, although you can’t swim there. We would return for the right price. The staff at this hotel really made the trip for us. Everyone works so hard, don’t forget to tip!! The food - breakfast and lunch were good. Dinner was hit or miss at the buffet. Snack bar served the same things daily. The lady at the snack bar (I didn’t catch her name) was wonderful and worked so hard. The sushi restaurant was a hit! Orlando and the server helping him were both amazing!! Orlando made us a huge platter of sushi rolls and went above and beyond. Highly recommend. The daily food by the beach was great! Ceviche and paella were super good! The Mexican fiesta was a fun evening. Food was ok and entertainment was great. The hotel - our room was a bit dated but always super clean. Beds were ok, pillows not so much. The ocean view was amazing! The grounds were beautiful and kept so clean as well as the pools. Service - service at the hotel was great at pool bar, snack bar and restaurants. The buffet sometimes was hit or miss with services. Entertainment - Emiliano was amazing! Always bringing so much energy to the pool each day. He works so hard! The other team was great too including Fernando. Cons: -no alcohol before 10:00. If you enjoy a vacation mimosa or baileys with your coffee on vacation you won’t find it. Wasn’t a big deal to us. -I never did find cream of coffee, only milk or coffee mate. -infinity pool is adult only which was a big disappointment to us. -hot tubs are adult only -no face cloths in room…this was odd -rooms are a bit dated but still super clean. Being dated didn’t make a difference to us. The views were beautiful! A few people who made our trip extra amazing: Entertainment - Emiliano Pool bar - Jesus and Luis, they go above and beyond Breakfast buffet - Dorotea was so friendly and makes delicious omelettes! Sushi - Orlando is the best! Makes delicious sushi and super accommodating and kind. Buffett - Bruno provided great service, I suggest having one of his special lattes!
