My sister and I just returned from our 10 day vacation to Cabo Azul. It was such a wonderful trip. We were treated like honored guests in every way. The resort is very clean and the grounds beautifully kept. Everyone including our favorite bellman, Angel, who showed us the best units to reserve next time, to the concierge, Leon, who made activity suggestions and reservations, to the most helpful pool attendant, Tomas, who made our time at the pool both relaxing and fun, made this the best vacation imaginable. We can hardly wait until our next trip to Cabo Azul.

“Beautiful resort, comfortable stay.”

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the beachfront location and the peaceful vibe. Service was consistent throughout our stay, and everything felt well organized. It’s a great option if you’re looking to unwind in Los cabos.

“Nice place it was better when it was not a Hilton”

2nd time staying here found it to be a bit of a down grade form before it was a Hilton owned resort. It was pricey before but, now it is extremely expensive for the outlets. Better to buy groceries from Mega up the street.

We stayed in this beautiful resort in a 2-bedroom unit on a 2nd floor with a huge terrace. Our condo was very spacious but the second bedroom was very dark with a constant traffic under non-transparent windows. It looks like that it was a laundry facility under our terrace with some ugly tents and big carts below the terrace. However, we enjoyed an ocean view, long beach walks and huge infinity swimming pool. Due to a very big waves, the ocean there is not swimmable - people should not try to go to the water close to these dangerous waves. The resort had a lot of sun-beds and cabanas which did not require reservations, and that was very convenient. In front of the resort there were always local vendors sitting every day and blocking the beach/ocean view. We found that the food and drinks in this Hilton resort were extremely expensive. So, we visited a big supermarket (about one mile from the resort) for buying some food for the breakfast mainly. Most of the times we had lunches and dinners in the Flor de Noche restaurant located near the main pool. The Javier’s restaurant was unreasonably expensive and we skipped it. We were very surprised that Azul restaurants included 18% service charge in the bills, so there is no point for additional tipping. We also tried eating in the Mexican restaurants across the street from the resort, but the prices there were comparable with the Flor de Noche (better food). The coffee shop and a grocery store in the resort were very costly: $10 for one scoop of ice cream, $10 for one croissant, $10 for a gallon of water. There are not such prices in any Hilton resort. Most likely we would not return to this resort since the Hilton La Pacifica in Los Cabos area is more luxury with a better food and swimmable ocean lagoon.
