I stayed at the Emporio for 4 nights. I came as a solo female to get some last minute dental work. I was blown away with this resort! My room was clean, and updated. I really enjoyed this resort because it wasn’t too big. It was easy to get from one place to another. The food was fabulous, a lot of variety at the buffets and the specialty restaurants were top notch. I’m from Montana so I am picky about steaks and was hesitant to order one but my server recommended it. I am glad I took his suggestion because my steak was awesome! The Italian restaurant was also super delicious and the service was impeccable my server Angel had perfect timing with the service and made my dinner experience special. I also had excellent poolside service and never had to go up to the bar myself and never had an empty drink while waiting for the next. As wonderful as the cleanliness of rooms, food, all the waiters and staff were to me it gets better! I had four days of dental appointments and went down to the concierge to ask if he could tell me where the nearest pharmacy was. This is where I met Jordy the concierge. Jordy assured me he could handle it all. He invited me to sit down and he made some calls to local pharmacies to find the script I needed. They were delivered within an hour. Later I went back down because I had forgotten one script and Jordy made a call. Later Jordy came to me with the medication and explained that the order could not be processed since it was the end of the day but that he personally walked down to the pharmacy to get my script for me!!! I could tell he had put in a lot of effort to go get that important prescription for me. Jordy went above and beyond for me and I know it was because he could tell I was in a lot of pain and that I was alone. When I told my husband about it he told me that he was very appreciative of them taking care of me and that we needed to go back sometime to show our appreciation. * I do want to share, and I hope whomever from Emporio reads this lets Jordy know that his amazing customer service is appreciated. Also I ran out of usd $ at the end of my trip and I was able to exchange both usd and cad at the front office for pesos. With that said I feel awful because when I was at the Italian restaurant I am certain my conversion from usd to pesos was incorrect and I should’ve left Angel much more of a tip as he deserves a very good tip. By the time I figured it out it was too late. I promise next time I come back I will be sure to make it right! Thanks again for a comfortable and safe stay! I hope to return with my husband and kids sometime to enjoy this amazing resort! You all are the best!
