What truly set this hotel apart was the people. The staff didn’t just meet expectations, they went out of their way at every turn, anticipating needs before we even had to ask. The chef personally came out to greet us, and that spirit of genuine care carried through every single meal, each one exceptional, thoughtfully crafted, and full of incredible little details that showed real pride and attention. As a wellness hotel, it struck the perfect balance: luxurious without a hint of pretension, elegant but completely unpretentious and warm. It’s rare to find a place that feels this special and still this genuine. This is officially the standard every future stay will be measured against. One of the best trips of my life, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a birthday trip and it was a great experience all around. Eric at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed, and I couldn’t be happier with all of the service at Nomade. The location is excellent, the beach is pristine, and the Oceanfront Suites are worth the money for the view and proximity to the water. I especially enjoyed the dining/bar area with the vaulted, thatched ceiling and the smell of copal. It feels like a peaceful oasis tucked into the trees. Nahum and Jessie make the best cocktails on the island, and Isaias, our server, went above and beyond. Thank you to Nomade, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and a little closer to nature.

I never expected to fall in love with such a magical place. From the kindness of soul working there, to the soul food, pod of dolphins and magic waters treatment, I cannot wait return. Nomade brand has a formula of creating incredible hotels that blend into nature and make you feel like a part of the ecosystem. The peace and relaxation here was unmatched. Thank you to Angus who made each day a worry free by taking care of every detail. Counting the days until i can return.

The location is absolutely beautiful. It's on the quiet side of the island, which I loved, and they have complimentary bikes that make getting into town quick and easy (about a five-minute ride). Unfortunately, the operations and communication were consistently challenging. I was often given incomplete or inaccurate information, including conflicting pickup times for excursions. I was told info would be sent via WhatsApp when I arrived, but they weren't, so I had to follow up for that too. I also had to remind the front desk to have my room serviced on most days. I would also recommend booking your excursions and transportation directly rather than through the hotel. It's much less expensive and was easy to arrange on my own. The hotel's pricing for these services felt excessive. For example, I booked a wonderful massage just a few doors down for around $60, compared to over $200 through the hotel. The wellness program was one of the highlights of my stay. Laura, who manages it, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and receptive to feedback. I especially appreciated her knowledge of women's health. The yoga and Pilates classes were excellent, and the Agua Mágica water class was unlike anything I've experienced, the instructor was incredibly mindful and created a really impactful experience. The guided cold plunge with Laura was another standout. The Playa Fit class was not great but Laura heard me out and the sound bath was an added cost and based on the name, Lucid Dreaming Sound Journey, I thought it was something other than a sound bath. The restaurant was mixed. I had two fantastic dinners, while other meals were just okay. There are also plenty of great restaurants in town worth exploring. Kristy, one of the servers, was wonderful, kind, informative, and an absolute ray of sunshine. Overall, the setting is stunning, and I can absolutely understand why people are drawn to this property. However, at this price point, I expected a much higher level of service and communication. I'd recommend staying here if you can get a good rate, but I'd recommend booking your transportation and excursions independently.
