“Quaint little Mexican hotel.”

Over all we had a good experience. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We had two hotel rooms and both were clean. Beds were comfortable, everyone slept fantastic. The air conditioning kept the room temperature very refreshing. We had no issues with them working properly. I gave a rating o… more

“Quaint and Intimate”

Rooms are well kept and serve their purpose for tourists, which is sleep and waking up to the sunrise on the beach. Very nice cost for the amenities. Breakfast is lacking but expected at the price. A couple of reasons for this, nothing really bad. As several people have stated on here, it is an older property and needs some TLC. The doors lock properly, no problem with that. Unfortunately in both rooms, the safe did not have locks we could use. We carried our passports on us all the time. In the afternoons the pool had a murky tinge to it. Not a big deal for us because the hotel is right on the beach. We had the covered veranda room and it was literally out the door and on the soft sand. With the hotel being beach front, the staff gave us wrist bands so we didn't have to pay for any beach chairs. A bonus! Just down the beach is an ocean front pub/club. Music is played until midnight usually. You can hear it. The music didn't bother us, they played good tunes :) The hotel is in a great location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. The ADO bus station is just a block away. Close to several coffee shops. To recap, it's a nice little hotel with fantastic staff. The cleaning staff would come around daily if you wanted your room tidied up. Great ocean view with a nice breeze to help keep you cool.
