This was our third time at the Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach. We really appreciate the Star Prestige amenities and used the Star Prestige Club, the Star Prestige Club Classes (Tequila Tasting, Wine Tasting, Cocktail Class), the Spa access, and the Star Prestige Beach Area. We spent 5+ hours every day of our stay at the Star Prestige Beach Area. We really appreciate the service provided by Angel at the Star Prestige Beach Area. From past trips, we knew we were going to have a good trip when we saw that Angel was working at the Star Prestige Beach area ... I can't say enough good things about him ... just fantastic service, focused on the details, and knows what you need before you ask.

We had an amazing stay at Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach and would definitely return! The first thing that stood out was the cleanliness. Our room was spotless, and the same could be said for the restaurants, bars, pool areas, and the entire resort. Everything was exceptionally well maintained. The drinks were excellent throughout our stay, with a great variety and consistently high quality. One of our favorite parts of the resort was the incredible wildlife. Seeing coatis, iguanas, colorful birds, and other animals roaming the beautiful grounds made the experience even more special. What truly made our vacation unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service. A special thank you to: Gabriel and Carlos at the pool bar, who were always friendly, attentive, and kept the good vibes going. Frank at the bar next to the ice cream shop, who was fantastic and always greeted us with a smile. Demetrio at the lobby bar, whose professionalism and warm hospitality made every visit enjoyable. Their hard work and genuine kindness made us feel welcome every day. We highly recommend Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean resort with excellent food and drinks, amazing wildlife, and exceptional staff. We can't wait to come back!

Our recent stay at Iberostar was defined by the phenomenal quality of the hospitality, particularly from the Star Prestige members club team. Alain, Diego, and Alessa (from Star Prestige) genuinely treated us like family, providing world-class service that made us feel incredibly special and pampered throughout our stay. The Star Camp was also superb, offering fantastic activities that kept kids of all ages completely active and entertained, giving parents a rare chance to truly relax. The dining experience further impressed us, with amazing food and beverage options across all restaurants and bars. The service there was outstanding, always attentive to our needs and incredibly willing to adapt to address any special requests we had. While the property installations are feeling a bit run-down due to visibly low maintenance personnel, our main disappointment was the reception desk. The front desk staff are extremely rude and do not even acknowledge your presence when you approach. When we brought a room issue to their attention, their management of the situation was entirely unprofessional and unempathetic. Rather than offering a sincere apology, they dismissively treated our concern as a "known expectation" we should have anticipated. Fortunately, the exceptional care from the Star Prestige team, the brilliant food and beverage staff, and the Star Camp completely saved our vacation.

Very enjoyable holiday but could have been better. Firstly the staff - apart from those in the Lobby at Del Mar they were excellent. Very enjoyable holiday but could have been better. Firstly the staff - apart from those in the Lobby at Del Mar they were excellent. Be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or the bar they regularly remembered what we wanted and served everyone in order not on how much they tipped. Wildlife was amazing. Coatis, Agutis, Raccoons, lizards and some beautiful birds all around the hotel. Flamingos strollling through the hotel was a sight to see. Food was mostly excellent. Our favourite was the French. The Japanese was a huge let down. Was like a kids party. Groups of people shouting , screaming and having the chef throw food at them to catch in their mouth was not what I expected at a 5 star hotel let alone seeing them cooking prawns that were still frozen. The buffets were mostly good with plenty of choice - smoked salmon, oysters, languistines were a nice surprise. The big downside was not having an air conditioned bar to sit in the evening when the humidity was high. The fact they had one but only opened it a couple of times in the 2 weeks we were there was strange. We asked a couple of times why it was closed but the lobby staff just lied to us and basically ignored our request.
