I would highly recommend this hotel for quality of service, food and overall cleanliness. I have stayed here once before and they have maintained there professional touch. I hope the staff remain loyal and stay as i call them my friends, i generally missed having to come home and i will be coming back next year for 2 weeka without fail. Big up to Youseff, he is a really hard worker and deserves to be praised. Thank you to everyone at Allegro

“Set your expectations and you won't be disappointed!”

We had a lovely relaxing enjoyable holiday despite being quite worried about some of the bad reviews we had read and some of the clearly doctured 1 contribution reviews...we did not need to worry at all we had set our expectations for a basic, good value all inclusive and our expectations were met. We had room 2309, the room was modern and clean with a large comfortable bed and enough storage space for two. The safe and fridge were included for free. The shower room was nice however the rain shower didn't work and the air con could be colder. Room towels are shabby and need replacing but were changed daily and the bed sheets were changed when you requested it with the sign next to the bed. We always had 3 toilet rolls or even 4 so again no issues there. We both really enjoyed the food but if you are a fussy eater you may not...there were themed nights which weren't heavily focussed on the theme but still provided something different each evening. The selection was small but delicious and they had a few options for pizza and pasta every lunch and dinner. The meals consisted of Moroccan food such as Tagine(beef or lamb), fish, chicken with loads of veggies and either potatoes or rice. Lots of starters and salads but deserts need improving and ice cream was only available every other lunch time so could be extended. Breakfast had a selection of omelette, fried egg, vegetables, pancakes, pastries and some lovely choices of cereal plus an added bonus of freshly made juices. The restaurant staff were always polite and are almost too quick to clear your plate when you are still eating but leave an empty table with dirty dishes for a while..not a problem just an observation. The snack bar however was awful, the chicken was frozen cardboard, fries were hard and pizza was good. We didn't bother eating there bar one quick snack before leaving and glad we didn't. The bar setup was more a shelf of bottles and a fridge of beer with a bucket of ice. This meant the drinks were basic but tasty enough. The beer was always cold from the bars and restaurant. We tried the cocktails the Pina colada was good along with spirits and mixers..they do small measures so if it's too weak ask for double or triple and they happily oblige. They brought out slushies on the last 2 days which tasted great with vodka or rum. You can also get big bottles of water from the lobby bar. Entertainment was minimal but good for the price paid ours consisted of a magic show, welcome animation dance show and a Moroccan show with music, acrobats, belly dancer and snake charmers. The world cup was on so they did well working around the games. The sports bar was great with around 30 screens or more. The sea mist hangs around til about 10am and there were still sunbeds available until this time, plenty for everyone and people move throughout the day so others become available for use. They probably need a few more umbrellas for shade as these were limited. Pools were a good size and temperature, the surrounding paths and terraces were washed and cleaned daily. The entertainment team put on a few activities each day, which many enjoyed. Gardens were well kept with maintenance ongoing throughout our stay, the hotel does need a lick of paint and they were starting some touch ups before we left. There was absolutely no noise from the construction site no idea if they did any work the whole time we were there as it was so quiet. All in all we had a good holiday, we would come back if it was another cheap deal but always prefer to visit new places.

the best thing about this hotel was the staff in general. Most of them were very very helpful and friendly, unfortunately there were the odd few who bring the standard down. One of the big issues that seemed to be doing the rounds was the changing of the towels in the room. They would pick them up at 9am but didn't replace them, you had to wait until late afternoon for them to be returned. Plus the housekeeper would knock and come in without waiting for a reply! A few other things that are all pretty petty but added together just spoilt it a bit. One last thing I would probably recommend going B&B as there so many great restarants around and good value, It's worth considering.
