I have been coming to the Marriott Finistere in Panama for several years and every time I stay there Victor sees to it that I have an amazing trip Victor is very accommodating and friendly and I also appreciate the service he provides

Enjoyed our few day stay, nice restaurants, amenities and very large room. The service was over the top as was the breakfast served.

The people working at the front desk were super friendly! The bed was comfortable. I had a bathrobe. The people working at the front desk were super friendly! The bed was comfortable. I had a bathrobe. The kitchen had pots and a pan and can opener and most of the necessary things to use in a kitchen. There was a safe. The cleaners did a good job when they cleaned the room. The door to the refrigerator opened the wrong way, towards the wall. The windows did not open. There was only one washer and one dryer on my floor and any time I thought about using it, it was already in use. So, I washed my clothes in the sink. The room seemed clean, but smelled of eau du despair. Luckily I travel with aromatherapy so I was able to stay. But the smell of the room really bothered me. The internet was fast when it worked, but often did not. It cut off during a few zoom calls. Luckily, I could tether to my phone. The pool water was warm. The workout room was tiny, but sufficient. The food that I had at the bar was just okay. Edible, but not tasty. I only ate there once. The location is okay. The walk to the grocery store (or anywhere) meant walking past a lot of abandoned buildings, broken sidewalks, and some homeless. There are a lot of other options of places to stay. I would choose elsewhere next time.

I really wanted to like this property more. The location was an easy ride or comfortable long walk to many popular tourist areas. The building and rooms weren’t new, but were well maintained. It just never came together for me. An easy symbol of the disconnect was the cupboard content inventory. There were pots of all sizes, flatware and utensils galore. Not a single cup or glass for coffee or water. The coffee maker was a small, utilitarian device. Perfectly acceptable for drip coffee, except the coffee I used the first day was never replaced during my stay. Check-in and check-out were clumsy and awkward. A gentleman finally came over after many minutes of trying to hear the quietest desk attendant of all time. She asked to see my AAA card; which was fine since I carried it on this international adventure. But no property has ever asked for the physical card (the number is entered and confirmed on the booking site in my experience). No awareness of the rate or my status. A welcome box of chocolates arrived about ten minutes after I made it into the room. Very nice and generous. Just disconnected from the usual flow. I still don’t have my stay credit points almost 2 weeks later, so hopefully these weren’t lost. I would give them another chance based on the breakfast staff, who were exceptionally polite and attentive. The breakfast itself was decent. Also the room was spacious and comfortable.
