It's probably the best all-inclusive hotel I have been to. Everywhere was spotless, and staff were constantly cleaning. The food was excellent, with plenty of choices, including the food changing per day so it didn't get monotonous. The entertainment and activities were also generally good. Still, they could have some improvements, such as a ping pong table inside the games/arcade rooms (a ping pong table outside near the restaurant where I played quite frequently), or if I'm being picky, badminton/pickleball facilities on the hotel court. The pools are a great size, the pool bar and snack bar were very convenient to get drinks and food near the pool. I can't fault one specific thing and for the price, it was excellent value. I wish I could have stayed longer.

“Pretty much perfect.”

The hotel was spotless. I defy anyone to find a spec of dirt anywhere. The reception staff were exceptional and provided everything we needed as regards extra help, bottled water, travel maps and info etc. You just need to ask and they will help or find out how to. They really went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. We found the hotel extremely well planned and equipped, particularly our rooms. There was plenty of drawer and wardrobe space, enough electric sockets, a drying rack on the balcony, a choice of fan OR air-con in the room was appreciated as I hate air-con. A FREE safe which worked on a very easy system to secure without having to ask how. The bathroom had towels replenished every day although we didn’t ask. The shower was very efficient and there was never a shortage of hot water no matter what time of day or night. We also had a constant supply of facial tissues, toilet tissue and decent, pleasant smelling, liquid hand soap, shower gel, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. If you want a kettle in the room simply ask at reception and collect mugs, tea/coffee spoons from the main restaurant. There is a wide variety of teas available but I will say that there are no sachets of coffee so put a couple of shots of espresso in a mug (it makes about 4 normal coffees) and put cold milk from the breakfast bar in another mug which you can store in the fridge in your room. Oh! You need to either hide your mugs and spoons or get fresh one every day as the maid will take them for washing. While I am on the subject of drinks we were delighted to find that all drinks from the bars are named, good quality spirits, NOT local ones although the local wine/IPA in the restaurant is reasonable, Portuguese cider is quite good too. There is an ATM in reception, (and plenty in resort) also luggage room a very airy spacious seating area and pool towels drop off but collection is from the sports facilities centre on level -2 Mornings only. My husband has COPD and walking difficulties so we hired a mobility scooter from a local company and we found access to whole of the hotel is extremely easy. He managed to go every where via the lift and ramps. The staff, particularly the entertainments staff made a real fuss of him and made him feel quite the celebrity. Now for the cons, not many, however there is always something. Food is very good but into our second week became a little repetitive. I was not expecting much in the lunchtime snack bar but can say that it is definitely not your usual hot dogs, fries and burgers, there is a great choice of salad and dressings besides pizzas and toasties and paninis. A major down fall for us was the fact that without using the machine in the bar, not one of the restaurants serve coffee after evening meal. Humph! We also found that Portuguese really don’t mind eating food at a much cooler temperature than we are used to. We found ourselves waiting for the dishes to be replenished in the restaurants before helping ourselves to HOT food. Be careful in the indoor pool as the tiles are quite slippery both around the pool and all the surrounding corridors, the other bug bare there is that they could do with lockers and a pool side clock. The only thing missing in our bathroom was a working plug but as I always take a universal sink plug when we travel, this was not a deal breaker, I dare say if I had asked in reception a little man might have appeared to fix this. All in all this was a very enjoyable stay!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, and its staff like no other!! We have two children, 2 and 6, there is so much to do in the resort that they are never bored! Today is my daughter’s 6th birthday, the staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel so special! It started with a present of a cap, t shirt and sweets alongside a birthday note left in our room, the manager then called and wished her a happy birthday and finally she and her brother got a kids “cocktail” at dinner, my husband and I were so very kindly gifted a bottle of wine! Before this, staff were still always kind, friendly and no one ever passed us without saying hello. Definitely a place we will return too!! Thank you so much for making this day and holiday so special.

Visited with a 1 & a half year old & my wife in June 2023. The complex was big and bright and white.Reception staff where helpful most spoke numerous languages. All staff friendly some extra friendly.Rooms cleaned well.Room was on the fifth floor near the back of the hotel. The carpet was a bit dated & worn.The hotel had a main restaurant,2 themed restaurants (these where included but needed booked).Snacks available all day & bar opened on time. Lines could get busy in the evening.People took quite a few drinks once. Evenings had a kid's mini disco & normally singers & tribute acts. One of the best hotels I have ever visited made better by lovely staff & tasty food.
