Had a fantastic stay at this place! The resort was stunning, well kept and close to the beach. Thank you to the entertainment team for making so much effort to get everyone involved with the wide range of activities. Muss, Ibo and the whole team were hilarious. DUCK! The singer Fabio was fantastic too. Food was lovely every course. Didn't go hungry. Great variety also. Resturant staff didn't stop and were very welcoming. My partner went for a massage and said that it was amazing. Spa staff helpful and polite. Drinks were spot on. Bar team were excellent. Shout out to Yussuf, Gabriel and the gang. Will defintely be returning. Only improvement for me would be access to WiFi at the pool. Thank you all 💛

“A gem of a holiday”

We had the best time as a family (2 adults and a 6 year old)! We will love to return one day! Here is an honest review with the positives and negatives: POSITIVES - We arrived near midnight and they had a packed lunch waiting which was so well received. Sandwiches and fruit and juice box. There was also 2 bottles of water in the room. -The food was delicious. Not the largest choice, but all so well cooked and tasty… the Turkey and Apricot was stunning! My son is a fussy eater, but he LOVED the pasta and pasta sauce, chips, salad and sometimes chicken nuggets were on offer. He loved the pizza at lunch too. - My son adored the holiday club! - We loved strolling the grounds and nearby beach. On the grounds there is a nature / workout trail which is so much fun! Theres also a volleyball court and bowls - which became a lovely ritual. - My son adored the mini disco in the evening. - All inclusive included non alcoholic beer. You have to ask for it (it’s not on display) but this was a bonus for me. - The staff worked hard to encourage adults to join in with daytime activities (archery, zumba etc). Live singer Fabio Dias was amazing - shame he started so earlier when there wasn’t a crowd. My son thinks he is the best singer ever, bless him. - Room was really nice and well located for us! NEGATIVES - Music in the outdoor space by the bar was full of swear words and drug references. Children should not be exposed to this! I was on holiday when I checked reviews on here and someone commented on the same thing.. they seemed to tone it down since then - so it did improve! - The Grill would have been nice but didn’t seem to cater for children so we gave it a miss. They should add a children’s menu to let families enjoy it there. - Glasses at lunch time are so small! Had to get up several times to make sure I stayed hydrated during the meal. - Outside of meals, the coffee machines were always breaking down / running out. More regular checks are needed! They don’t serve hot chocolate behind the bar so several times I had to go without. - Snacks were not the best… especially at breakfast time … just seemed to be cold leftovers. The burgers and hotdogs were great but only available from 3pm. Would be great to see some pizza or chips on there too. TOP TIPS - I didn’t realise until Day 2 that you can self serve fizzy drinks / soda. It’s located to the left of the entrance of the dining hall and saves on queuing up in the bar! - take a reusable bottle with you and fill up on water outside the bar (there are 3 water machines there). - take bug spray, me and my husband got bit (probably when on the trail / beach). - you can arrange a shuttle, but we actually walked to Vilamoura Marina.. it took about 45 mins each way but it was lovely and we enjoyed a nice drink there. - go for meals when the first open to get best choice of seats and food. - check out the sunset from Shark Finn Point.. along the cliffs of the beach (to the left). Stunning! So, all things considered, it was a wonderful trip…. Improvements could be made, but it was still a wonderful trip with some amazing memories. We will return one day!

Resort is well situated in a quiet setting on Algarve, with access to a beach that stretches from Vilamoura to Pine cliffs. Grounds are well maintained and clean. Checking was efficient and i was given good information about the resort. Quality of food in the main cafeteria varies from day to day and is not fancy. Rooms are clean but cannot be qualified as 4 star rooms, they are somewhat small and packed. Mattresses are not comfortable and the pillows are the cheapest and worst I have ever seen to a point that I went out and bought new pillows. Two bottle of water are supplied per stay and never replenished.

“Not a good experience unfortunately”

When you arrive at this hotel the check in was painless and trouble free. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient in all aspects including connecting to the wifi which I had problems with. The restaurant staff were amazing and extremely friendly and efficient and very hard working. Tables were cleared really quickly, they had to be quick as there was only one restaurant open. However, the food variety was amazing and the best we have experienced. Unfortunately the food was really cold the majority of the time and I don't mean the salad. The only time the food was hot was when they just brought it out of the kitchen but with cold plates it soon chilled down. Cooked breakfast was cold every day - all 14 days of our holiday. After four days I did complain only to be told they would look into it but they used a thermometer to check the food each time (it must be broken I thought). The food was a 'little warmer' for two days and then back to being cold again. This really isn't acceptable in any way but unfortunately it didn't change. The coffee machines were not the best. There was always one or two broken down and all coffees had chocolate added to them - not the best. The room service was absolutely terrible. Most days we had to request water, toilet rolls and sometimes shower gel. The beds weren't 'made' they were thrown together. The floors were never washed, walking around the room in white socks proved this. There were also cobwebs around the ceiling which were never removed. The towels after two days were threadbare and very thin. The first couple of days, they were fine. The room was really damp as well. With regards to the pool, it was really cold and was not heated. Why? Surely in this day and age there could be a heated pool powered by solar panels - just a thought. Although we didn't use pool towels, there is a returnable deposit required of $10 for each towel and if you needed to change the towels there was a charge each time of $1.50 which was never mentioned. This is a beautiful hotel with the majority of the staff working really hard, in amazing grounds but the management really need to keep on top of the staff that aren't doing their jobs properly. Such a shame really. Would I go back - NO, never. The best thing about this hotel was the entertainment in the evening but even that was ruined on the Saturday before we left with Bingo!!! Who the hell has bingo as entertainment on a Saturday night when there had been excellent singers on. The last thing I would like to mention is that there is no tea a coffee facilities in the rooms? Why? So if you are planning on going to this hotel (and I certainly wouldn't recommend it) would be to take a kettle.
