“Great value and good service”

Plenty of choices for food with access to many other options through the group all free with all inclusive. Room very spacious and towels changed and room cleaned as you would wish. Very friendly staff especially Mustafa and fun entertainment in the evening. Would definitely go again.

Me and my partner stayed here for the bank holiday just gone, we booked all inclusive with the plan of using it just for snacks lunch drinks and then going out every night for dinner, however we didn’t even end up using the all inclusive as it was shocking, the drinks were vile the food halls were something out of what I could only describe as a school canteen. The people in the actual hotel were quite rude and loud pushing you out of the way to get a sausage. The bar inside had entertainment that consisted of a man screaming into a microphone.This hotel attracts attracts a certain group we were the only Irish ones which can sometimes be nice however this was very clear especially at the pool area which again we only spent an hour at as we decided to just go to the beach instead. The room however was lovely and so were the cleaning staff we didn’t want our room cleaned but every day we were asked as we were leaving to the beach which was lovely. We walked down to the beach and old town however I don’t see how you could walk back unless you are very fit as it’s all uphill. It’s a €4 uber home which is ideal. If you are looking for somewhere to lay ur head at night this hotel is that but if you are looking for a pool holiday with a vibe and fun this is not it. Also I wouldn’t recommend any sort of basis just go self catering as it’s absolutely not worth it the cocktails are laughable a mojito is just green in the bottom of the glass and the wine is disgusting the vodka is the one that gives you that tourist cough and a sore throat. The food is cardboard. Location is ok, staff are lovely, room is perfect but that’s about it

Honest opinion this hotel is 3 star + at most definitely not a 5 star. Came for 3 nights all inclusive with 3 friends to celebrate our 40th’s. When we arrived early the room wasn’t ready until 12pm and wasn’t allowed band until 11am which we expected and just hung round the pool for an hr. All staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful. Remember Portugal tax which was €2 per person per night and payable on checkin and also €100 security deposit per room which is given back once checked out, cash or card accepted. I was aware of this before hand but people checking in at the same time wasn’t aware so not sure it’s widely published. Room was lovely and clean and plenty of room for 4 of us for 3 nights. The all inclusive was bizarre and very different to other all inclusive I have been to before. There was no pool bars snacks i.e chips/burgers/hot dogs so any food we wanted outside buffet times had to be bought. The buffet food was nice and hot however it was very random we as a group struggled to make a proper meal for instance there was pasta but then no Bolognese sauce to go with it. We opted 2 evenings to go to the al carte restaurants within the hotel - the grill and Chinese, which were lovely but were set menus and wasn’t a lot of food so we did feel hungry after. All inclusive drinks wasn’t great very watered down and cheap spirits and no prosecco! The pool area was nice the pool was freezing though, we did only spend 1 day round hotel pool. The other 2 days we choose to go down to one on the sister hotels - the one near the beach which was a better pool area. The hotel do offer shuttle bus to sister hotels - just need to ask at reception. All in all we did have a nice pleasant stay but for what we paid and what we expected for a 5 star all inclusive I wouldn’t return.

I don’t usually leave reviews especially when I’ve had a decent time but this experience really fell short of expectations and felt quite frustrating. The room duvets had blood on it , felt very disgusting using them. This hotel is advertised as 5-star, but in reality, it felt much closer to a 3-star at best. I’ve stayed in several 3-star hotels that offered better overall quality than this. The room, in particular, did not meet 5-star standards it was quite underwhelming and lacked the level of comfort and finish you would expect at that rating. One of the biggest issues for me was the complete lack of baby changing facilities. There were none near the pool or, in fact, anywhere accessible, which made things unnecessarily difficult. For a hotel claiming to be family-friendly and high-end, this feels like a basic oversight. The food was okay but very limited in choice, which again doesn’t align with what you’d expect from a 5-star experience. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout, which I appreciated. However, good service alone isn’t enough to make up for the other shortcomings. Overall, this stay didn’t justify its 5-star rating, and I expected much more.
