A great facility for so many reasons! Our primary reason for being there was attending a 6 day Smooth Jazz Festival. The setting of the hotel will take some beating. To look out as we did at the ocean from our room in the hotel was simply stunning. The room was a good size with the only slight negative being that it only had a single sink and a very narrow bath tub. The resort was kept spotless and much credit to all the staff for keeping it that way. Disappointingly 2 of the restaurants including the Italian one were closed during our stay which given the number of people attending the Jazz festival and therefore staying at the hotel was surprising. We sat mainly at one end of the resort close to our room by a nice pool which was not heated and was cold. I actually went swimming in the indoor pool which was a very good facility. One of the highlights of our stay was sitting at the Mirador Bar each afternoon having cocktails and listening to Smooth Jazz, just a wonderful setting. We ate at all the other open restaurants including having the buffet on 2 of the nights which had a good selection of food. O Pescador where they prepare the fish for you was very good but pricey as was the Piri Piri Steakhouse. Corda Cafe served excellent fajitas and had an extensive menu in a lovely setting. As I said, the facilities are phenomenal whether you come as a couple, family, have young children, want to play golf, tennis or Padel, it's all at Pine Cliffs. Finally, nothing could beat the 4 concerts we attended which were outside overlooking the cliffs and ocean. Truly magical in every way. Highly recommend this excellent resort.

“Spectacular Setting in the Algarve”

We loved the Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites Resort. It has beautiful grounds, pools, and a stunning setting on the sandstone cliffs by Falesia beach. We had a junior suite on the top floor. The room was spacious and had great housekeeping and great AC. We had lunch at the Corda Cafe on their lovely patio. We especially enjoyed being able to access the elevator down to the stairs to the beach with our room key. The lounges and sun umbrella were free with the resort, and Falesia beach is spectacular with soft white sand and a backdrop of amber and red sandstone cliffs. Breakfast at the Jardim Colonial was excellent with made to order omelets and a great selection. We also had a wonderful lunch at the Clubhouse on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Just outside the hotel entrance there is an Inter Marche grocery store, and 2 blocks from the resort entrance there is Salt and Pepper Pizzeria which has outstanding grilled chicken and vegetable kabobs. We used Uber from the Albufeira Ferreiras train station and also to get to Old Town Albufeira and that went fine. The reception area for the Ocean Suites is only open from 8 am to 9 pm, so we paid our bill the evening before, since we needed an early departure the next morning. This was a memorable stay for us, and we would love to return.

“Family holiday”

This is our 4 th visit to Pinecliffs over the past 10 years. Location is wonderful and accommodation to a high standard. The site has expanded a great deal over the past 10 years. It is expensive especially eating onsite.
