What a wonderful experience! First of all the hotel is very easy to find, those whose say it is difficult to get to must only be used to driving on motorways. The road is slightly hilly and thin in places but was no problem at all! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special shout-out has to go to the afternoon/evening reception Graca (I think that’s how you spell it! Sorry if it’s incorrect) who was so warm and welcoming and made us feel so at home! The rooms were impeccably cleaned each day, beds made, floor cleaned and fresh towels when required. The room itself was wonderful, incredibly comfy bed with mattress topper, an aircon with a simple to use interface, blinds to block the heat (electric roller blind) and a lovely balcony. And the water pressure in the showers was amazing! There was also a very reasonably priced minibar too! Free all purpose soap was also provided. The pool was lovely, a good size given the number of rooms in the hotel. Always enough sun loungers with comfy toppers to lie on during the day. And absolutely stunning views from the pool and restaurant terrace. Speaking of the restaurant, wow. The food was phenomenal! Every dish we had was amazing! The 14 meat Rodizio was the highlight, all you can eat with exceptional quality meat for only €18~. The staff again are always super friendly and helpful. Honestly this hotel really is a hidden gem. I think I have pretty high standards when it comes to hotels, but each was surpassed. Considering it was €100 a night for a double room so €50 per night it is truly exceptional value. The hotel has 3 stars on its logo but it really should have at least 4. Of course there will be fancier places to stay if you are willing to shell out but it’s truly a hidden gem and super value for money. It’s also only 20 minutes from Faro and there is a Lidl with cash point just round the corner!

“Excellent value, friendly staff and delicious food. ”

Such a lovely end to our holiday. Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value and such friendly kind staff. Restaurant was fabulous... delicious food, the meat was so yummy! View was beautiful and very relaxing. Children loved it as did we. Thank you for a lovely stay.

“Quite and Relaxing Stay”

We had a great 1 week stay. The room was very clean, friendly staff and you can't beat the attached restaurant with very good food and drink. The hotel is located on the hills of Sao Bras de Aportel you get beautiful views from the balconies and it comes with a great pool. The only negative for me… more

We had a great 1 week stay. The room was very clean, friendly staff and you can't beat the attached restaurant with very good food and drink. The hotel is located on the hills of Sao Bras de Aportel you get beautiful views from the balconies and it comes with a great pool. The only negative for me is that the room was to small and not enough closet space for a weeks' stay, I had to place one of my bags on the bedroom floor and the other on the floor of the huge bathroom.

This is a very interesting hotel, a bit further from the coast but we decided to give it a try for our week stay in The Algarve recently. I took off two stars because we had a couple of problems. The first one was the fact that we booked a superior room, as it was our wedding anniversary, but were allocated a very poky room, and one of the panoramic windows looked right at the next room, which felt uncomfortable, even if we were told that they wouldn't be able to see into our room (we found that out as after complaining we were given the other room, which was amazing, spacious, airy and with much bigger windows). The other problem, which was quite huge, was the fact that most days we slept very badly due to many dogs nearby, barking a lot, many times until late at night and starting at dawn, which was not a good experience. Other than that, some of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the pool is great and the views from the first floor rooms make you feel like you are on an airplane. Great breakfast that can be taken on the terrace, which also has great views! We didn't try the Brazilian restaurant, as we much preferred to eat Portuguese food!
