We’ve just spent a wonderful week at the Dom José Beach Hotel and had a really enjoyable stay. Our room was compact but lovely, with a beautiful view, and the hotel’s location is excellent. The beach is absolutely fantastic. We chose not to use the hotel’s paid sunbeds as they were quite expensive and set a little way back from the sea. Instead, we bought an umbrella, a couple of chairs and used our towels on the beach all week, which worked perfectly. The hotel is only a short walk away if you need anything. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice every day, and we really enjoyed every meal. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was spotless, with cleaners constantly working throughout the day to keep all the public areas immaculate. Room cleaning was generally good, although it was a little inconsistent on a couple of days. A special mention has to go to Marcus in the bar . He was outstanding. Whenever he was on duty, he was incredibly attentive, regularly taking our drinks orders at the table and making sure we were never without a drink. On the day he was off, we noticed the difference straight away as we didn’t receive any table service, which was a shame. He is a real credit to the hotel. We also really liked the resort itself. It may be a little quiet for some people, but that was exactly what we were looking for. There are some lovely bars, restaurants and little shops. Only downside is the pool area that is very small and overcrowded. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the hotel and the resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach break.

This was our 3rd visit and our second since September last year. We arrived at 10.30 am and the rooms would not be ready until 3pm. however i had requested room 123 and the guy could see we had stayed before and our room was then ready by 11.30. Another great stay, staff excellent, we had Bed and breakfast, great choices in the restaurant. We can recommended this hotel very much.

This hotel is in a excellent location.the food is good (limited choice) but good selection of main and puddings .breakfast was good and enough choice.limited area to sit round pool so be prepared to pay for sunloungers on beach .service in dining room was excellent mina was exceptionally good .the bar service was not as good but got better as the week went on.will definitely go back to this hotel .the location sold it for us.

A fantastic hotel in a superb location. When we arrived at this hotel our transfer dropped us in a street a few 100 metres from the hotel. Being honest our first impression of the hotel wasn't great however all that changed the minute we walked through the door. Check in was prompt and welcoming we were provided with all the information we needed. The hotel lounge was spotless. We were allocated room 318 a double room with Balcony and sea view, and what a view it is. The room was clean with kettle fridge comfortable beds great bathroom with powerful shower and hot water all the time. The room was tidied daily, beds made and changed and towels changed daily. Opposite the hotel they have there own private beach area with sunbeds and parasols this are charged at 15 euros per day for 2 beds and a parasol, you also get waiter service for drinks to be served to you on the beach. The hotel has a small pool with sunbeds, although there are signs stating reserving sunbeds is not allowed, as with most places it still happens albeit we could have got one anytime until mid morning. The restaurant area is very clean and the food replenished continually throughout breakfast and evening meal food was good quality and plentiful. Staff are constantly removing empty plates and cleaning tables. The bar serves lots of good quality beers with good table service. All in all this is a great hotel providing great customer service in a friendly and helpful way. The staff are really very good in every area.
