The Pousada da Ria is located in Torreira, near the city of Aveiro on a peninsula that acts as a barrier between the Atlantic Ocean and the Aveiro Lagoon. It is a 15-minute drive from the town of São Jacinto and 43 km from the city of Aveiro. This building from the 60s is built on pillars above the water, and affords an up-close and special connection with nature.
During your stay, you can swim in the fantastic outdoor swimming pool or relax in the privacy of a small private beach.
Enjoy the Pousada's private beach , protected by the currents and oxygenated by the algae that attest to the quality of the water, to relax and sunbathe. The Pousada da Ria offers bicycles for hire, which are typical in the area, for discovering the city, and you can leave your vehicle free of charge in the Pousada's car park.

“A charming hotel in a quiet location”
A gem of a pousada dating from the 1960s. Our stay took me back to those times. An unpretentious hotel with all the comfort needed for a short overnight visit in a charming location. The furnishing of the common areas we found particularly appealing.

“A perfect place to disconnect or to work”
The treatment of the staff and the views from the rooms make this place a perfect spot if you are near Aveiro. In summer it must be ideal to spend a few days with the swimming pool and the river almost under the building. In the evenings from the balcony you can see birds fishing.

“To repeat”
It was really a wonderful experience. A superb view over the RIA de Aveiro, the rooms are spacy and confortable. Near the ferry that take you to the road to Aveiro at a nice price. The staff is excellent in all aspects. Thank you for a pleasant stay
