Although it is only a 12-minute drive from the airport and 15 minutes from the capital Funchal, the hotel is favourably situated amongst greenery and the area is generally peaceful. “Pleasant hotel in Lower Canico.”
This is a nice hotel built on the side of the cliff, so if you are in a lower room there are lots of lifts involved in getting to your room. Our room was enormous with a bathroom and sitting room.
