We had a really lovely stay at the hotel in late April and would happily return. We were initially given room 1110, which had an absolutely stunning sea view—definitely a highlight of our stay. The only surprise was that the room didn’t have a bathroom door, which felt a bit unusual at first. We went down to reception to ask about it and were told that only some rooms are like this. The staff kindly offered to move us and even showed us an alternative room, which was much larger. However, the sea view there was quite limited, so we decided to stay in our original room—and we’re glad we did, as we quickly got used to the layout and the view was worth it. We stayed for five full days and found the room to be clean and well-equipped, with a hairdryer and shampoo/shower gel provided in dispensers. The shower was excellent—great water pressure and consistently hot water. One small downside was the comfort of the beds and pillows. They weren’t the most comfortable, and my partner struggled with this more than I did. The food was good, with just the right amount of choice. It didn’t feel excessive like in some hotels where a lot goes to waste. The salad selection was particularly great, and the desserts were lovely—the pear cake was my personal favourite. I tried the meat dishes a couple of times, but they were a bit too tough for my liking, so I stuck mostly to the vegetable options after that. The only real downside for me was the coffee. They don’t serve fresh coffee, and as a latte lover, that was a bit disappointing as I like to start my day with one. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker—we enjoyed tea at the hotel and found some lovely cafés when we were out and about. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay—extremely friendly, helpful, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I also used the gym, which is fairly basic (cable machine, a few dumbbells, cross trainer, and treadmill), but still perfectly adequate for getting in a good workout. The spa seemed quite overpriced, so I didn’t use it. There is also a small supermarket about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, as well as a little shopping mall within walking distance, which was very convenient. Overall, a great stay with fantastic views, lovely staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend.
