“Plotting to move here permanently!”

“Best place to stay with beach view”
We absolutely loved our trip to Durban. The Surf Motel was the best place to stay as we went just to hang out on the beach and have fun in the ocean. Spent 4 days there, great place that is clean and tidy. The staff are super friendly and the location is a stones throw from the beach. We recommend this place to all that want a great break. Stunning venue right on the beach. Rooms have all you need, are neat & clean and serviced every day. Stunning views. Lovely deck to sit & chill on. Shops & restaurants all with 2km Close to King Shaka & Sibaya.

“Great location”
Rustic and relaxed setting but the bathrooms let them down. We enjoyed the beaches and restaurants in Umdloti. The bathroom had a low ceiling in the shower and no air vent or window so shower curtain didn't keep floors dry
