We have been meaning to try this venue for ages and somehow just never got around to it. We so wish we had done so before as we simply loved it, Our friends eat here quite a lot and they made the booking for all four of us. The staff were very helpful and efficient and the menu was quite extensive….we were spoilt for choice. Whether it’s steak fish or traditional Spanish dishes you will not be disappointed. The standard is exceptionally high and it is very good value for money especially considering the fantastic location outside one of the best buildings in Almunecar. We love Emiliano’s in the old town but this is every bit as good and we definitely will be a regular visitor.

5! We stayed one night in March just a lucky stop. Kind lovely reception, especially Ester lovely young lady and so helpful. LOVED the balcony rooms. Fell in love with the beaches. Quaint Hotel. Is noisy, dam noisy!! Doors slamming, lift goes a lot at night. Maybe adjust spring on lift door for les… more

5! We stayed one night in March just a lucky stop. Kind lovely reception, especially Ester lovely young lady and so helpful. LOVED the balcony rooms. Fell in love with the beaches. Quaint Hotel. Is noisy, dam noisy!! Doors slamming, lift goes a lot at night. Maybe adjust spring on lift door for less banging? For our last 6 nights in Spain we returned to Hotel Casablanca as felt like home. On top of Cafes which I don’t mind as normal noise. A Parrot Jardine adjacent so thats a racket but can get used to birds screeching. We will be back regardless of the noise within as got used to it so hope somebody tries to rectify that. Also loud noise when bottles tipped out Friday nights! Still we would book again - maybe elevator could be serviced and quietened. Have not used car, walked to market at entrance to town, eaten out all day long, had nails and hair done walking distance. Did tuc tuc tours from opposite Hotel, gr8 lads too. Spent time on all the beaches. I brought my own beach towels or get at the market!

My sister & I stayed at the Casablanca for one week in January 2025. My cousin had recommended this hotel and I was sceptical but it turned out to be well above our expectations and I wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else. Excellent room with a balcony and sea views. Excellent food and service. Had I not booked a return flight I’d have stayed longer. Hope to return again.

Food in the restaurant was of a very good standard and the service efficient . The only negative was that the bedroom doors were a bit noisey and one night there was a late night row going on in one of the bedroom corridors. We enjoyed our stay and would revisit .
