We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this super clean, beautiful hotel. Views are stunning, we had a sea view room. Rooms are really pleasant. Spot on location, a gorgeous walk into the marina which took us about 45/50 mins. Lots of little shops nearby too. Food was absolutely fantastic, not sure where people are staying when they say there isn’t much choice?! You couldn’t possibly try it all. All fresh and beautiful, SO much to choose from and all great quality. Breakfast was our favourite, going to miss my morning mimosas! The grounds are always being cleaned and maintained. Same goes for outside the hotel on the mains streets always so clean. Pools are cold but that’s to be expected this time of year; didn’t stop us or our 7 year old. They are fresh water too so felt lovely to swim in. The splash area and slides were fab for our little girl too. Overall it’s a great layout, so many different places to sit and relax. Nice and spacious seating all around the hotel, and never a problem getting a sunbed. Again, nice and spacious around that area, doesn’t feel all on top of one another around the sunbeds. Snack bar is really pleasant to sit at, beer, soft drinks/juices/coffee/hot chocolate and water on tap here and in the main restaurant. You also have wine on tap in the main restaurant. Not that we have lots, but this is such a bonus as it reduces queuing and obviously no waiting time for drinks when your self serving those. Even when going to the bars, we never found much a queue, and never waited long. Not much choice at the snack bar in terms of the food, I would say but we are proper foodies and love going in for lunch anyway, so for the ice cream and a little pick it was ideal for us. Bit of a tip, you can fill your water bottles at the snack bar and by the main bar inside, so take bottles as you don’t get bottles of water in your room here. Al a carte restaurant was beautiful, really enjoyed the meal there and staff were so pleasant and attentive, as they were overall throughout the hotel. Definitely think a drying rack for the balcony would be handy to have for towels and swimwear. Entertainment could be better, they mixed up the mini disco a little but the entertainment before and afterwards was a bit samey. Could do with mixing up the songs the guitarists play, as good as they were, it got a bit repetitive. The children’s playground was fab, our little girl made lots of lovely friends and that’s where they enjoyed playing of an evening, but great where it is as there is seating by there where you can watch them. Overall, we LOVED this hotel and location. We would absolutely return. It’s just a perfect all rounder, if your staying as a family, couple or solo traveller. If you thinking of staying here, do it! You’ll have the best time. Thank you Estival. Memories made that will last a lifetime.

We stayed her for 7 nights total all inclusive. The room was very clean and the view was amazing from our room with sea view, the bathroom had the toilet separate with a sliding door for privacy. The bed appeared as a double at first but we later realised it was two singles pushed together with bedding to disguise but this did not bother us too much overall. Bed was average was able to sleep well enough for duration of stay. The spa facilities were lovely, jacuzzi was warm and indoor pool. Downside of the indoor spa is that they are very strict about the swimming cap being worn in the pool and I did forget at one point and the guy chased me and shouted at me in the pool. These caps bear in mind are not plastic and the water seeps through so I'm unsure of why the rule was so strict about this. Outdoor pools no caps needed. Food was great most days always found something I liked to eat typical all inclusive. Cocktails were poor and pre mixed unless paying. All other drinks were great. You also get shouted at by the lifeguard if you take your paper plate by your sunbed. Few times where we felt like kids when we are grown adults due to some silly rules. Entertainment staff were great and very friendly making for an enjoyable experience both in the day and of a night. If you have a late flight home on way back please know you cannot get lunch or dinner in the dining area as you must use your room key to scan in and out of meals and as we didn't leave til 7 we could not have th meals which was unusual for us as never had this at a hotel before. Overall I would stay again as it was a great price for a week away in April.

“Perfect holiday for families”

A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was kept beautifully clean, plenty of wardrobe space, hangers and shelves. In the wardrobe there was an easy to use free safe, which was a bonus! The bathroom was roomy with a lovely rain shower ( and hand held spray if needed.) Plenty of lotions and kits provided. The hair wash and handwash were pump style and smelled gorgeous. The toilet was in the same area with a sliding privacy door. The bed was huge!! The only thing that spoiled it was the thin pillow provided. We used a blanket rolled up to give it extra height ( to drop a subtle hint) and the last day we were given an extra pillow. There is a fridge, kettle, cups with a limited supply of teas and coffees. We always take our own and buy milk from a supermarket. Across from the hotel is a Lidl for milk etc. We had a lovely balcony on the 4th floor with a side view. We couldn't hear any traffic noise . There is no place to hang out dripping bathing costumes. Luckily I always pack a small washing line and pegs and tied the line to the 2 chairs provided. The grounds are huge and lots of areas to have sunbeds in and out of the shade. There didn't seem to be any problem with putting out towels first thing and you were allowed a short time away to have lunch etc. I loved the fact that there were adult only areas to sunbathe. There is a family pool and a fantastic waterplay area to keep the young ones amused. Being the end of March and in to April the water was very cold! There was an entertainments team around the family pool but we never used this so cannot comment. Beside the family pool was a bar, snacks and serve yourself ice cream which was quite tasty. We sat there only once as there were lots of smokers and vapers nearby. There were also serve yourself sodas, beer, fruit juices, wines and water machines. Meal times: all buffet self service style drinks and food with plenty of choice. Once a week you could use the a la carte restaurant. Think this was just for all inclusive patrons only. In the evening there was some entertainment provided but again we never stayed to listen to it as the bars were very noisy and crowded with limited seating areas. Outside there were tables and chairs next to a children's play area. Outside the hotel itself up a little bank is a bus stop ,110 or 120 took you into Benalmadena itself. It cost 1 euro 65 payable on the bus. We used this to go to Paloma Parc, which is a lovely green area to spend some time in to "chill out" Would we go again? Quite frankly no. We are not used to family all inclusive holidays. Meal times were noisy with children serving themselves food, not using the tongs provided, fingering the food, putting food back after tasting it. There were some responsible parents showing them how to go about choosing meals etc. however, but most parents sat back and let them go wild! They were on holiday after all. There were lots of young babies ( lots of crying in the heat, poor souls) and some parents thought it cute to let them crawl across the busy floor. Food: lots of choice but basically the same each day and the cooked meals were lukewarm to say the least. There is a microwave to use if you want to use it. In other hotels we have been to have warm/hot plates to keep the food hot. The A la carte experience: quite frankly it was not pleasant. The head waiter was rude to my husband when he wanted a salad without cheese when he took the order. He kept coming over and making fun of him saying " no cheese, no cheese" He loved the sound of his voice and his tuneless singing was something else! The food was just ok, nothing startling. We did however have a lovely young waiter serving us so it wasn't a complete disaster. Throughout the day and evening being on the 4th floor we were subjected to a lot of cigarette smoke which wasn't very pleasant . On the evening before we came away small children were screaming and yelling in the play area after midnight whilst the parents were making merry. I think it is an ideal holiday for parents with young children who don' mind the hustle and bustle of meal times and late night revellers enjoying themselves. It is a lovely hotel but not for us, sorry. It must be heaving in the summer school holidays!!
