Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the Estival Torrequebrada. Our room had spectacular views over the med and pool areas and it was wonderful to wake up to such stunning views every morning. The food was always of a very high quality with so much choice every day and catered for even the fussiest of eaters. The staff were extremely helpful and Xisemena who served at the pool bar was so friendly and efficient even at the busiest of times. One massive negative for me though was the amount of smokers at the pool bar which forced us to have our drinks round the pool instead of sitting at the outside area at the pool bar. Surely there could be a separate area for those wishing to smoke and those of who wish to breathe in cleaner air!! Also at night the upstairs outside area was spoilt for us because of the constant smell of cigarette smoke forcing us to sit inside which is not what we really wanted to do as we wanted to watch the nightly entertainment. I would love to return to the Estival but feel that without the smoking concerns being addressed I would not consider doing so. The entertainment did not start until 10pm which I consider being too late and other people I spoke to agreed.

Just returned from Estival Torrequebrada, first impressions were quite good, check in was good although rooms we're not ready as expected. Room was a nice size with a lovely side sea view on 8th floor. Facilities were ok but struggled in some areas, we went with family although booked separately. The play area is not for toddlers our grandson is two and the slides ect were not good for his age. Same as the kids splash pool not for the younger ones which was very disappointing and no life guard on duty at this area as read on the hotel facilities and the reason for booking this hotel was to have childrens fun time. Our grandson was never left unattended unlike some but older kids were a little aggressive around this pool. The lifeguards were around the other pools. Maybe you could put an age limit and height restrictions on your website as we noticed this by the pool. Food was quite good but a let down was the eggs at breakfast were cooked in a pan in deep oil so they were dripping in fat, normally they're cooked on a flat griddle but a positive was the English sausages. All staff were lovely and helpful. We did have to complain about a very large Spanish group as they were loud disrespectful around the splash pool, spitting and smoking stamping out their tab ends and left them around the splash pool. We did tell one of them that this was not acceptable and also spoke to life guard on duty nearby and reported to reception. Definitely spoilt our last days around the pool and in the restaurant. The entertainment staff were good we joined in a few activities. To sum up the holiday it was good but would not return with small children.
