This property is located in the perfect location for exploring Cádiz. Close to everything and not far from the train station. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and included everything we needed. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. No issues with check-in and check-out. We even arrived early and dropped our bags at a sister location nearby. So easy. Our experience at this property made our trip to Cádiz better as we didn’t have to worry about anything. Well worth the price.

“Great place to stay!!”

Let us begin with the positives. The apartment - two bedrooms, top floor - comes with a "welcome package" that includes butter, marmalades, small bottles of water and milk. This was appreciated. Let us begin with the positives. The apartment - two bedrooms, top floor - comes with a "welcome package" that includes butter, marmalades, small bottles of water and milk. This was appreciated. The location is great, very central and it has a lift, for anybody with big suitcases or mobility issues. It has two small pools - they're more like plunge pools or large bathtubs - on the roof as well as some sun loungers (8 altogether). This is nice but if you're in one of the top floor apartments you're going to have people sitting in this glorified bathtub, right outside your living area, all day. It's a little odd although not terrible and some might like this. Furniture is modern, sterile sort of stuff, made for the wear and tear that comes with a place like this. Not really romantic or characterful for the holiday of your dreams but all fine. Apartment was well cleaned. And now to the negatives, one of which ruined our stay here. Firstly, when we arrived early, around midday, we were able to leave our bags at the front desk. The receptionist already knew which room we would be in. When we eventually arrived back at 4:30, our apartment still was not ready and the receptionist kept telling us "check in starts at 4" and no, she couldn't tell us when the room might be ready. Seriously, what does this mean? Should we wait until 8pm, what are you trying to say? I previously worked in hotel management and the best thing to do here would be to say, sorry, we're running a little late, we're a little short staffed, let me ask housekeeping. We literally had to argue with the receptionist to get her to ask. We really had no problem with waiting - in the end the room was ready at 5pm, and it happens - but it was this woman's attitude that got to us. Shortly after that, when we reported that one of the air conditioners was set to heat, not cool, she somewhat grudgingly got the caretaker to help us but not before telling us accusingly "all our air conditioners are set to cool, how can that be?". How would we know, lady, we just got here. Yeeks. Having said that, every other staff member was polite and kind. Anyway it was not this woman's lack of communication skills or professionalism that wrecked our stay in apartment 401. What did, was the constant humming of machines. We think it was coming from the internal corridor...maybe it was air conditioners all going at once or the pool filtration? We never figured it out but in the back room it was literally like sleeping inside a noisy old refrigerator. The air conditioner drowned it out in the front room and luckily there was a sofa bed so one of us slept in the living room where the machine humming wasn't so bad. If this sort of thing disturbs your sleep, would suggest you check it out beforehand or get some ear plugs. Thanks to the combination of the "old refrigerator" humming and the receptionist's unprofessional attitude, we won't be back here again.
