So we were a little concerned by some reviews we had read, however, our trip was worthy of a 4 star review. Firstly, what I think many are caught out by, is the vastness of the complex, we had a car, but clearly without one you would find getting around (just the site, never mind the area) really difficult. We opted for a spacious apartment, which, in my view, was undersold, we had a washing machine, large fridge freezer and dishwasher, all this was unclear on the booking and so a nice surprise and meant you could travel with carry on as you could wash your clothes, and an airer was provided. We stocked up the fridge meaning we only ate out when we felt like it as opposed to being compelled to. The little shop on site is perfect for essentials, yes a little on the expensive side, but the time over money argument kicks in here, and we didn't mind paying the extra for convenience. The pool towels are only charged at 20 euro if you don't return them not as a matter of course as had been listed in previous comments. The toiletries are not plentiful agreed, but we took our own anyway. The service, staff and food (we opted for breakfast included) was all worthy of 4/5 star. I would recommend the breakfast and the Safari for dinner, we dined there several times. We travelled as a couple but there was clearly plenty to keep kids occupied and various shallow pools for little ones to play in. The pool area shut at 6 which was a little early, 7pm would be better. The only think that really upset our holiday was the inconsideration of other guests, not the hotel's fault, but what could be addressed, is the sound travels really well in the apartment blocks and so if someone is making noise in the night, chances are you will hear it. We heard quite a lot, from chairs scraping the floor, to phone alarms, someone left their hot tub running all night! and just general conversations and even a full on domestic one night at 3am we had to call security to deal with. Sleeping with ear plugs helped. Would I return? If not for the inconsideration of other guests, yes I would. Good value, lovely setting, really beautiful, well maintained grounds, nice pool area and sun beds, courteous, and friendly english speaking staff and nice food. But get a car!
