We were two friends and two dogs , staying for a week When we arrived , we were upgraded to a beach apartement. Luxury , with two bedrim, two bathroom, livingroom and kitchen. And the best of all, a big deck , with the poolarea in the front. If you wanted the ocean.. walk « four» steps , thrue the gate..and take a swim The apartement have parking in the bacement, with elevator to the floors.. snd a garden area that you need keys and codes to enter Recomanded😊

“Spent 7 days in a spacious 2 bedroom ground floor apartment.. air conditioning poor and only 1 kitchen electric point”

see above. Location difficult as nearest supermarket 10 min drive away and lack of nearby restaurants. Tried 2 pool areas both good for young children.Would recommend for families but better for self catering.

Wow,first the plus Large apartment for the money with lots of balconies But very little useful extras in it No cleaning equipment not even washing up liquid or toilet cleaner Air conditioning turns off after two hours so you will boil in the night We had a ground floor apartment with ants free of charge in kitchen and all rooms by the end of week even under cooker hob No hangers in wardrobe,but great shower Numbers very hard to see all apartments look the same

I last stayed here several years ago and it’s very much the same. I didn’t have much choice this time as I went at the last minute and prices were reasonable as part of a BA flight and accommodation package. The first thing to note is these apartments aren’t disabled friendly and range from ground to third floor. There are steps to most of the apartments and there are no level access showers, just shower over bath. Parking is easy on the road, but they also offer free underground parking. There aren’t any elevators unlike their sister apartments - Casares Del Mar luxury apartments, front-line beach, about a mile away. With Al Bayt Resort you really need a car to get around. The beach is about 1500 metres away, but you must cross a very dangerous road, the A7, to get there. The apartments are handy for neighbouring towns such as Estepona, Sabinillas and Duquesa ports. Gibraltar is about a 40-minute drive away. I was given a one bed garden apartment with mountain and sea views. It was a compromise to get the sea view as I had to downgrade to a one bed, when a two bed was purchased as part of the holiday price. However, as I was a sole traveller it didn’t bother me that much. At least I got the views I wanted. The apartments are nicely laid out, open plan with lounge, kitchen and dining area. With the garden apartments there are French doors to the patio and small well tendered garden. The kitchen is well stocked with most of what you would need. Cutlery, crockery, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a conventional oven. A TV is provided with mostly local channels and radio. Parking and security is good. The reception which serves Al Bayt Resort and the beach apartments isn’t open 24/7. It operates 9-5, seven days a week. If you arrive after these hours, you need to call the concierge/security on their mobile. It’s important therefore that you have a mobile phone. If you depart outside the reception hours, you post the keys in the post box on the wall outside reception. Free Wi-fi is available and it’s a good signal. The staff on reception are professional and very friendly. I would like to mention Tony, who was very helpful. The apartments are essentially self-catering, but there’s a restaurant off the reception area where you can buy breakfast and lunch. There’s also a clubhouse bar, which I have never stepped foot in, so can’t comment. There's at least one outdoor swimming pool. As I say the resort doesn’t bear a patch on their beach apartments, but for one week it was comfortable.
