“Lovely rooftop terrace”

Great location, very friendly and spotless clean. Really would recommend these apartments. They overlook a quiet square. Lots of good restaurants near by. Just a short walk to the beach and a few minutes walk to the main square.

Just back from Nerja having stayed at the apartments for seven nights. The Olvido is in an excellent central location within a 10 minute walk to the Balcon de Europa, longer if you stop off at the multitude of restaurants, cafes or bars on route. There is a restaurant/bar immediately at the entrance, The Central, which is good value. If you are driving, there is an underground car park. We arranged a transfer from the airport through the appartments and the driver gave us the keys and helped us to our room. Our room was on the second floor, accessible by stairs or lift. The room, a one bedroomed appartment with balcony and windows overlooking the small square, was of a good size, modern and well equipped. There is a large roof terrace including a small "plunge" pool, jacuzzi and saunna(didn't appear to be working). There is even a sea view over the surrounding rooftops. Although the reception is not 24/7, this was not a problem since Esperanza, the cleaner, was very helpful. The rooms were kept clean with new towels available every couple of days or on request. There is even a laundry service available at a small cost. Overall we found the appartments good value, in a good location and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return, probably next year.

We arrived after 2pm so we received detailed instructions on how to access the keys to apartment. The apartment is bright and airy, decorated in a modern style. The kitchen is well equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer and hob. (No oven). There is also an iron. The shower is spacious and powerful. Our balcony overlooks Plaza del Olvides and Johnny's bar/cafe. The location is perfect...quiet but only a few minutes from the Balcon. There are lots of good restaurants on the streets around us. We would definitely recommend these apartments.

“Noisy restaurant below”

The room is fine, but you can easily hear the sounds from the restaurants below. That means you cant sleep well untill they close. I would try to soundproof the rooms which are located right above the restaurant. The air conditioning is a bit noisy also but so are all the ac:s i have heard in spain… more
