Our third visit to this hotel and we can highly recommend staying here. We have always had one of the front rooms with a large sunny balcony. (Ask for this when booking direct to the host). Very clean and well serviced. The restaurant serves top quality meals and their lunchtime menu of the day is great value. A few staff speak and understand some English which just added to the atmosphere of this family run business. Excellent spanish hospitality and will return in the future.

A Surprisingly Wonderful Stay – Authentic, Welcoming, and Well-Located Although it's unusual for us to book a 2-star hostal, this experience exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was genuinely authentic, and the staff were absolutely first class. A huge thank you to Ana and Marta, who were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. The location is ideal, right across from a panadería and a Carrefour, and only about a 10-minute walk to the main attraction, the Balcón de Europa. We stayed in a pool-view room with a large balcony that included a table, comfortable chairs, a wicker sun umbrella, and two sunbeds — perfect for relaxing. The housekeeping team also deserves a mention: the rooms and bathrooms were spotless, with fresh towels and bed linen provided regularly. We would definitely return for a week before moving on to Málaga. A small note for future guests: not all rooms have a sunshade, which is essential in the hotter months. We’d only return if we could stay in Room 115 again — it was very quiet, and everything worked perfectly. Also the restaurant connected to the Hostal was excellent if you require not to walk to restaurants further afield. We had breakfast twice and lunch once, and was excellent. The payment has to be made directly to the restaurant and cannot be charged to your room. Also no facility for making tea/coffee but there was a kettle on the foyer for all to use. We were the couple that checked out earlier to then stay a few nights in Malaga. Thank you again, Ana and Marta, for making our stay so enjoyable!

“Good steaks”

Excellent steaks. Waitress very friendly and chef helpful. Asked us if all was ok with meal. Good house wine. Not sure if it’s a hostel for migrants ?? Quite a lot came into restaurant when we were finishing our meal so not sure we would go again.
