Brilliant and Modern hotel. We landed at 1pm and the room was ready which was a bonus. The location is perfect! Short 3min walk to the beach and any amount of bars a restaurants. Special shoutout to Mucky Omarras Irish bar for live music and great Guinness. Value for money based on location and cleanliness is 10/10 We stayed in a junior suite pool view which was very big! Only problem was that the balcony doors do not provide any sound. If you want an early night and there is entertainment on it could be a problem. Was also noise from the apartment upstairs of a child bouncing a ball and walking which was abit annoying but just luck of the draw. Plenty of sun loungers at the pool so no issue there The food from the mascalzone restraunt was beautiful and the scenery also lovely. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They also do movie nights for children which I thought was good, providing popcorn and sweets. The breakfast was your typical buffet which I cannot fault. The hash browns were 10/10 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Alcudia. We will definitely be staying here next time in Alcudia!

We just came back from a few days in Mallorca with our kids (13 and 15) and we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall, it was a good experience and I will break it down and rate each of the categories we thought were relevant for this hotel. DISTANCE FROM AIRPORT 6/10: It took us about 45-50 minutes to get to and from this hotel to the airport. This is the time to Alcudia area generally so this is a negative for us for this area. But if this travel time doesn't bother you, the area of Alcudia is very nice and the beaches are great for families with smaller children. But there are very nice beaches closer to Palma as well. CHECK IN 9/10: Pretty easy. Reception area is very nice and the people at the front desk are also very nice. They could speed the process up a bit just by taking all of the information for the travelers earlier (they manually input at the desk when you arrive from your travel docs) but that is a minor issue. They will store your luggage if your room isn't ready and if you want to shower they will also provide that for you which we thought was nice. HOTEL 8/10: Overall, a very nice hotel. The grounds are well maintained and it is in a very central area of Alcudia beach which is very easy to walk to the beach. 5-10 minute walk if your strolling slowly. Modern touches throughout and it was recently renovated so things feel new. It feels cozy and quaint in the lobby area but the reality is there isn't much to the common grounds of the hotel. There is a restaurant that is attached to the hotel that is of course open to the public that is very nice but it takes up alot of their common grounds. It is a la carte and not included in any of the meal options. ROOM 8/10: We had a "Loft" room and it was solid. The pictures of the rooms on their website are accurate and how it looks. Beds are very comfortable and we had a pull out and another bed in the room for our kids that were made before our arrival. There is a sliding door that doesn't shut all the way for the bathroom and that might annoy some people if you're expecting full privacy when you're in the bathroom. Overall, the rooms were nice. If I had to give them a recommendation it would be to put pictures on the walls of the rooms. It will make a MASSIVE difference in the way the room feels and the customer experience. Without the pictures on the walls the rooms are nice but with the pictures they would be VERY nice and I think the investment would pay off in customer satisfaction with the ambiance in their room. POOL: 7/10: Super cold. I mean super cold. When it is hot that is what you want but this pool was very cold. If you want a heated pool you will be disappointed. But, it is a big pool with gradual entry for smaller kids and the pool area itself had a ton of loungers that were never totally full which was good. We spent the most time at the beach so we didn't spend a ton of time at the pool. BARS: 6/10: Only one real bar and honestly, we never saw anyone drinking there and to be frank, we felt like service there was spotty at best. You needed to track someone down to get bar service which I thought was a negative. And the drinks were rather expensive but that is to be expected to a beach resort area. But, they could be making so much more money on the bar if they put more effort into getting people to spend time at the bar! FOOD and FOOD VENUES 6/10: The food at this hotel is just OK. It isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination but there was never a time where I was wow'ed by any of the food options or their flavor. For Spain, I thought this was disappointing a bit. Breakfast options were decent and you have the normal things you would expect. Just the quality of the food could have been better for the price in my opinion. Breakfast didn't vary day to day but it doesn't really need to. Dinner was about the same in terms of quality but it varied day to day. Again, the quality just could have been better at dinner. There are options for everyone and meats and salads and breads which are all decent. But, there was nothing that I was really impressed by. The biggest issue with the food options in my opinion is the venue. The dining area is a separate building from the main hotel (not far at all only steps from the lobby) but you needed to walk up steps to get to it or take an elevator. Not a deal breaker but if you're older and/or have trouble with stairs take note. Really low grade drop lighting (super bright) in the dining area makes it feel like a cafeteria and when it is crowded it feels like a cafeteria. We have stayed at a lot of Melia hotels and for a Melia hotel, and a four star hotel, they HAVE to change this. There is so much they could do for the dining experience at the dining room from lighting to seating areas, to decor, to busing the tables, all of it could have just been better. It was never bad, but it also was never really good. Put it this way, I would never go back to this hotel for the food it serves and the dining experience alone. It was decent, but not up to Melia standards in my opinion. GYM: 9/10: Everything you need to do basic workouts and a bit more in terms of weight and spinning classes. OVERALL 7/10: Solid hotel, with a great location, modern and clean rooms, but the food experience brought the opinion down of the hotel a bit. Increase this experience and this hotel could be excellent. In addition to adding just more things for the guests to do. Like was said before there isn't much to this hotel. It is 97% rooms. If you're going to Alcudia as a family with smaller children and you're not too picky about the food at the hotel, this could be a good option because of its proximity to the beach and activities. If you're a couple and want to have nice dining options on site, I might steer away from this hotel in addition to the fact that there are a lot of kids. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I wouldn't tell someone that they shouldn't stay here. Just know what you're getting into.

“Go for the wine- not the food”

Lush surroundings and helpful staff. We ordered some pizzas and they were so dry & no flavour, also very expensive for what it is. Music was good vibes 🧿🪬
