“Experience of a Lifetime”

One of the best hotels that i stayed. Service was great. We had an issue with the hot tub, and the service staff was fast to respond and fix the issue, even though it was our fault. The service in the buffet was the best i have seen in a hotel. Overall great service and a really great hotel.

We’re nearing the end of our 10 night stay at Zafiro Tropic. Although not our first time in Alcudia, it was our first time at this hotel. Travelled with my wife and 3 year old, plus two Grand parents. We’ve loved our stay here. From the friendly check in on day one, to our last night speaking to waiting staff and entertainment team. The staff throughout the hotel are excellent and so friendly, and were particularly amazing with my daughter. Rooms - we stayed in a Studio room with garden view. The room was spacious with a double bed. We emailed the hotel in advance regarding bed arrangements as my daughter doesn’t sleep in a cot anymore. They set up an extra foldable bed in the room which was ideal. Rooms were spacious with a small kitchen set-up and plenty of storage for clothes. The views of the mountains from our balcony around sunset was stunning too. Food - We were all inclusive so had the option of the buffet restaurant or bar restaurant at lunch to change things up. There was plenty of choice across all 3 meal times, with particular highlights being the Mexican and Seafood themed nights. We did take advantage of the Ala Carte option one night too, which went down well. The John Dory dish was superb! Even for picky eaters, there is always standard options available too. We did eat out a few nights too to mix things up, which we always like to do. Drinks - Plenty on offer for all inclusive, including a large cocktail menu in the main bar area, which is ideal for an evening. Table service too which means you can concentrate on keeping an eye on the little ones. Very few spirits weren’t included on the all inclusive, so I tucked into my shade of Morgan’s Spiced Rum and cokes which is always a bonus. Entertainment - The evening entertainment is very much geared towards kids but that is to be expected. Some of acts were quite good, and the entertainment staff put on a whole itinerary for each day, whether that be arts and crafts, t-shirt painting etc. I can’t fault any of the team at all. They’re such lovely people and try to get all the kids involved. Location - 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. And another 5-10 minute walk down to the port with a load of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Pools - loads of pools to choose from and all very safe with lifeguards keeping people in check around the inflatable pool. My daughter loved all of the pools, including the slides at the splash park. Overall, we absolutely loved our time here. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Nothing is ever too much bother. They’re so friendly and courteous and really add an extra dimension to the holiday. We spoke to a number of people who were on their 3rd and 4th visits and it’s not surprising based on our experience. Thanks to all the staff at Zafiro Tropic! We are just disappointed it’s time to go.

Zafiro hotel is a lovely place for young families. We went with our baby 9months and Toddler nearly 3years. The mini club was fantastic, 4 team members held activities throughout the day and night and our toddler joined in whenever he wanted. Such a varied activity set and evening entertainment was great too for kids and adults. It was lovely to see our toddler build confidence throughout the week. There's an app for the hotel which is really informative too. Can’t really fault the entertainment. The rooms were spacious and accommodating for a cot and sofa bed. Ideal kitchen area for washing and sterlising etc with a mini fridge and microwave. We went all inclusive which worked well as there are some snacks available throughout the day and buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also an a la carte lunch which worked well for us as we would spend the morning at the beach and come back after the buffet lunch so would have the a la carte instead. Drinks are mainly included in all inclusive including cocktails and branded drinks. Bar staff and waiters are brilliant throughout the resort really attentive. Dinner buffet was ok, good selection from salads to desserts fruits and kid friendly meals. The manager and team were so good with our kids and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, really loved the selection of Majorcan pastries! Perhaps more live cooking at dinner would be nice. We had an à la carte meal one evening which was delicious. Pirate splash pool was amazing and the playground, trampoline, mini golf and bouncy castle are right there so kids are entertained all day. We didn't spend much time in the other pools but they looked good. Location is excellent, a short walk to beach and shops. Bus stop for old town nearby or a longer walk if you preferred. Highly recommend making use of the spa, the antioxidant facial was well worth it. The only downside of the stay really was that the rooms were not cleaned daily and we had an issue the morning of our departure as we were being picked before breakfast. I emailed reception and they advised that we go to the early buffet and take some breakfast with us but when we got there we were told that it wasn't communicated and we needed to let them know in person so that they could arrange for staff to be available or something. Im not clear on what else we could have done, providing a takeaway box of breakfast snacks would have been a fairly simple solution for the team so I would recommend doing this in future! Alcudia is perfect for young families so many double buggies around. We will definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

“Spacious apartment in a great location”

This is a lovely hotel / apart hotel in a fantastic location, beach is a 5 min walk. I love the adults only pool area. We had a 2 bed self catering apartment, don’t expect to do much catering! This is a lovely hotel / apart hotel in a fantastic location, beach is a 5 min walk. I love the adults only pool area. We had a 2 bed self catering apartment, don’t expect to do much catering! Fridge is very small, no cupboard space for basics and only 2 wine glasses for a 4 person apartment! Apartment is spacious but a lack of mirrors. There is a mirror in the bathroom and also a shaving mirror - that’s it and with no fan in bathroom had to use the hairdryer to clear the steam of the mirrors. No full length mirror and none at all she bathroom in use by someone else! Bring your own hairdryer. Apartments are very close to pool so a lovely view but don’t expect a lie in as noise from pool cleaning / leaf blowers from 7am. I did enjoy this hotel and would return.
