“Reservation of sunbeds”

I travelled with family for 7 nights at the Binimar and returned home last week. The accommodation and complex on the whole was clean. The apartment allocated to my husband and I was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The food was of good quality compared with some all inclusive holidays that I have been on. On a negative, during the 7 days we stayed in the Binimar, we could not get sunbeds near the pools. Guests were sitting on chairs to reserve their place by the pools for the sunbeds before they were unchained by the staff. Also towels were placed on chairs to reserve at 6 am! (I know this because I take early morning walks before the temperature rises). There were signs saying the reserving of sunbeds was prohibited - why was this not enforced? to give guests the opportunity to use the pool/sunbed facilities provided by the hotel. As a suggestion, chain the chairs to prevent guests from using these to reserve their sunbathing place. Given my comments on the sunbed arrangements, this would not deter a future visit.

“Great for families”

We came as a group of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children aged from 18 months to 8 and had an absolutely brilliant time. Firstly and most importantly I must say the entertainment team were incredible!! They made the holiday, spoke to everyone and got every family involved. Huge shoutout to the main man Ruben, Gabi, Angeline, Etoile, Will, Fabiola, and last but certainly not least Oscar. You all fabulous and the hotel wouldn’t be the same without you. In terms of the hotel itself, the pools are great and we enjoyed the sunbeds at the side of the splash park (perfect for the kids, and near to the main bar) The bars were busy but we never waited more than 5 minutes to be served. Kudos to the bar staff who are polite and friendly. The food is also really good with plenty of choice and themed nights. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the rooms - we really could have done with a 2 bed apartment as sleeping on the sofa bed was not the most comfortable for 10 nights. Would absolutely come back though in spite of that. Thanks to all at Binimar for a brilliant holiday!

“Carnage”

Coming to the end of our 10 night stay now and would not return. Rooms are basic and dated, 1 bedroom for 4 of us so had to sleep on a fold out sofa bed which got changed once, along with the towels and had to repeatedly ask for toilet rolls to be stocked up. Coming to the end of our 10 night stay now and would not return. Rooms are basic and dated, 1 bedroom for 4 of us so had to sleep on a fold out sofa bed which got changed once, along with the towels and had to repeatedly ask for toilet rolls to be stocked up. Sunbed system is something I've never experienced anywhere before, people sit and reserve there space around the pool from 6am waiting for the beds to be unlocked from a stack at 9am, then it's carnage and fights trying to get one. And then you get your bed taken from under you bang on 6pm so they can lock them all back up! Food is cold and repetitive, so don't bother if you enjoy a good meal! Majority of staff are rude and unpleasant especially the bar staff who seem like the worlds against them when you go to fill up your tiniest plastic cup with a drink! Don't waste money in the water park which has only 4 slides and more rude staff! The Only good thing is the kids splash park on the complex

So to start with the negatives- When we arrived we were told to put our luggage into the luggage apartment as our room wasn’t ready (not great considering this was about 3pm) but fine.. the luggage apartment had someone else’s unpacked clothes everywhere including dirty underwear in the bathroom etc. The reception staff also left a lot to be desired. The rooms & complex as a whole could also be a lot cleaner. I felt the range of drinks included in the AL weren’t massive either and bottles of water or an extra cup for water weren’t provided either. The positives- the pools were warm and the splash pool is lots of fun for little ones! The shop on site was fairly reasonable too. The food was really fresh and yummy but quite repetitive. There’s also a really lovely (pebble) beach near by!
