In a sentence you get what you pay for A long airport transfer to Cala n forcat The hotel itself and grounds are clean and well kept. The apartment was dated but did the job good air con and all amenities but the bed was on the hard side. It was cleaned twice during our stay. We had a pool view which was nice at night.. but not for a morning cuppa when people are outside waiting for sunbeds from 7:20am The hotel has 3 pools.. clearly they don’t have enough sunbeds or space for the number of guests.. the splash park you have no chance unless you are out at 7am and they don’t unlock the sunbeds until around 8:40 and it’s like a circus if you don’t queue you don’t get one and the lack of space means it’s busy and loud The food was as you would expect some of it was nice but it was never the hottest and got samey and repetitive as the week went on. But my 7 year old ate really well the full week. The drinks again as you would expect but they don’t make it clear enough what is included in the all inclusive and what isn’t. You get tokens when you check in which are exchanged for cups when you go to the bar we stayed somewhere similar using the same system but it did confuse some people On the plus side the staff were nice for the most part big shout out to Yowa from the pool bar who was always smiling. The entertainment team work hard and the two nights we stayed in and watched the entertainment it was quite good. We went to the waterpark which wasn’t cheap but it was worth it. The bar opposite it parc aire was great for kids with giant inflatables. We took a taxi ride to the port at ciutadella which was a lovely town with quaint streets and shops. The cove just off the hotel was good if you wanted out of the complex. But we loved jimmy hills over the road good food and great entertainment for kids A good value for money break but sunbed wars rule out any return

First time on an all-inclusive holiday, & it exceeded my expectations, such good value. The hotel is lovely, beautiful grounds & pools. The restaurant managers & staff, & bar staff work really hard. A good selection of hot & cold food including fresh fruit & salads, & nice bread. San Miguel & sangria on tap, lovely. I was expecting a 'beige food' canteen style arrangement but it was a lot better, especially if you avoid the very busy times. I'd requested & been given an apartment in a quiet area which I appreciated. Staff don't unlock the sunbeds until around 8.30am, so no mad rush. Our family found the children's evening entertainment a bit lame, & far too loud, completely unneccessary. The adults evening entertainment starts at around 9.30pm, & the Michael Jackson tribute 'Smooth Criminal' was excellent. We had the water park package, it's about 15 minutes walk, fairly small but fun, quieter when it opens at 10am & from 3pm. One of the ride attendants was too rough booting people on rings down so watch children carefully. There is a little beach about 30 minutes walk down a rocky path, can follow a path around the rocks to a deeper sea area where you can jump off rocks (not the one nearest to hotel). Our family agreed we'd be happy to return here.

The hotel itself was fine it was clean and had 3 swimming pools and tbf was massive and the staff were all very friendly I was self catering so can’t talk about the food but they had a supermarket on suite and we only had to walk about 2 minutes to the streets which had lots of restaurants which was very decent and a place called jimmy hills across the road which was very reasonably priced rammed on the night and had child and adult entertainment myself partner and son had a lovely holiday in this lovely chilled location

Rooms clean and spacious although mold on ceiling, very very dirty silverware in shower area being a housekeeper myself I would say it was not cleaned properly in months, dust on high areas such as on top of pictures doorframes etc basic housekeeping procedures, housekeeping 2 times in one week?? Rooms clean and spacious although mold on ceiling, very very dirty silverware in shower area being a housekeeper myself I would say it was not cleaned properly in months, dust on high areas such as on top of pictures doorframes etc basic housekeeping procedures, housekeeping 2 times in one week?? Not good enough, food very repetitive and dry especially when travelling with fussy eaters pasta and chips 3x a day for week :( but great for people who eat meat etc, chocolate cake once during my 7night stay :( be careful of rent a car across road street lights were out and groups of men hanging about to the point myself and family had to walk on road to be safe don’t know if there’s a men’s hostel about but no street lights outside hotel where on brought this up with reception they said it’s been like that since October which resulted in us only leaving the hotel once at night as was scared for myself and kids safety, the staff amazing except ‘Fina’ in restaurant at reception the way she eyeballed my child who’s 7 really annoyed me I let it go then next day we went back we stood up to leave our table she pointed at us then spoke to another staff memeber I confronted her saying “everything ok” she replied “no problem no problem” avoid her as she’s rude, all other staff amazing can’t fault them very hardworking hope they’re paid well, when we arrived around 2pm after travelling since 6am had to put our luggage in “luggage room” which is an apartment been used for that purpose which other guests items where scattered over the “luggage” room, nothing to do nearby very isolated unless u get bus to cuitadella which is nice. Lovely wee bar across from water park which offer trampolines and inflatable slides for kids free during day and £2 at night lovely staff and food here. More for people who want to sit by a pool for the full holiday as not much round about, pools and splash pools amazing, difficult to get a sunbed as people are reserving them and then not sitting in them very annoying, children’s entertainment could be slightly better. I’ve stayed in a lot of 3* hotels where housekeeping was done every single day and food not repetitive so this was a first for the experience, sand park in hotel like dirt the “sand” gets you dirty. Proper run down around the area of the hotel. Kids had an amazing time thats the main thing!! Would return if could find a great deal but would rather spend the money on another resort or island nearby. If u put another card or corner of cardboard in the electricity port means air con can be on 24/7 ;)

Coming to the end of our 10 night stay now and would not return. Rooms are basic and dated, 1 bedroom for 4 of us so had to sleep on a fold out sofa bed which got changed once, along with the towels and had to repeatedly ask for toilet rolls to be stocked up. Sunbed system is something I've never experienced anywhere before, people sit and reserve there space around the pool from 6am waiting for the beds to be unlocked from a stack at 9am, then it's carnage and fights trying to get one. And then you get your bed taken from under you bang on 6pm so they can lock them all back up! Food is cold and repetitive, so don't bother if you enjoy a good meal! Majority of staff are rude and unpleasant especially the bar staff who seem like the worlds against them when you go to fill up your tiniest plastic cup with a drink! Don't waste money in the water park which has only 4 slides and more rude staff! The Only good thing is the kids splash park on the complex
