AluaSun Lago Park

“Aluasun”

Aluasun is located on the prime location. Rooms are basic but good with cleaning provided every day. Food was not too bad either. Free access to water park makes it even better. Beach is walkable and nice markets in the evening. Overall, it was good to spend time at Aluasun.

Just back from a week's stay here. We stayed in room 3095 which was a group floor 2 bedroom apartment. With three boys it was perfect for us. My bigger two had a room to themselves with twin beds and our youngest shared the big double bed with us. Kitchen was well equipped with pans/plates/mugs and glasses. The fridge is good size and we were able to store all our breakfast food along with a few beers. Location wise it is fantastic. We ate out most evenings in the restaurants that are literally on your doorstep. Piccolo being a favorite of ours for both burgers and pizzas. Beach is a lovely 5/10 minute walk along the marina which is well equipped with beds and umbrellas. Would recommend going down the day before you want to spend the day there and prebook your beds. Was steep enough at 31 euros for two beds and an umbrella but sure, on holiday and we were able to pick them at the front to keep an eye on kids in the sea. Overall the experience was great, staff great, rooms well kept and was sad to come home.

We are currently mid point through out stay here at Alua Sun and I have no complaints! We are a family of 4 with 2 sons age 12 +15 staying in a one bed apt. The apartment is clean and comfy but compact. A good point is that despite this, our teen sons each have a bed rather than a shared pull out . This holiday was intended to be a cheap and cheerful week and another room would have cost £800, so while it’s a little small it’s totally adequate. The kitchen set up is very basic with kettle, toaster, microwave and 2 ring hob. Fridge but no freezer compartment and very minimal cooking utensils- so you can cook but you have to be creative! Not that we are making more than a sandwich or noodles so it’s fine. Pool and grounds are all maintained and there is absolutely no issue with sunbeds. A lots of those with younger families head to the aqua rock park in the morning and come back afternoon, so we do it the other way round and that’s fine - you can get on the slides at the water park easier later. The park is included in our stay and it’s. 2 min walk away and breaks the day up even though it’s quite small there are a couple of slides the bigger ones like. The air con and WiFi work well - a must with teens. There’s a pool table too and a supermarket directly opposite - so save on bar prices and pop over for over for ice creams and drinks. The bar food was ok and served quickly - lads had pizza a couple of times. We are self catering so didn’t try brekky etc. all in for a budget week in the sun - Cala den Bosch is perfect . The resort is nice and chilled but if you want nightlife and English breakfasts you probably need to look elsewhere. If you like nice restaurants, pretty views and a low key vibe, you will enjoy. I certainly wouldn’t mind returning.

“Clean quite”

I found the life guard a bit rude. We had a 2 half year old with us and the steps to are apartment were unsafe they need a gate or something to stop fall other than that we had a really good week

“Was a cheaper hotel so you get what you pay for”

The hotel was better than expected after reading reviews. Great location and a good breakfast. Air con in the room was good and size of apartment was good. The cleanliness of room and pool area/toilets was poor. No child section in evening food so kids were eating chips of plain pasta.
