We had 2 nights at the Casas, before moving to a villa - we were in Villa 2, one of the 3 bedroomed villas. Highly recommend booking a transfer with the hotels - they have their own Eco people carriers, very comfortable, good value for airport transfers (ours between Casas and Villa was complimentary) and they will look after you, checking you in at the Suites then driving you/luggage around the corner to the villas/bungalows. These are basically a small gated community just behind the marina. You are above some of the restaurants owned by the same group. We heard nothing from these once inside the villa but obviously it's a lively marina so you will hear a buzz from your excellent, enormous terrace. That's at the back - your private pool and very nice loungers are at the front. We found the villa very comfortable and with excellent air con, which we appreciated very much as the humidity was off the scale whilst we were there. I'm used to mainland Spanish heat but this was something else and meant the 'feels' temp was + 5 on the 35-36 it was generally whilst we were there. The villa seemed very well equipped to us and suited us perfectly. There are 2 small supermarkets at the end of the cul-de-sac which had everything we needed. You could have breakfast out if you wanted - including at the hotels (not cheap to do this, though). We found the villa pool was slightly too warm after a day in the sun and preferred swimming in the Suites pool in the afternoons - bigger and felt fresher. You can use any of the pools in the hotels. We found the marina a bit busier than we're used to but it has the advantage of loads of restaurants, many pretty good. We didn't try many of the hotel-owned ones in the Gastrohub - but we liked Sensa by the beach very much. We had gelato from the place opposite the Casas every day! Our favourite of the more traditional Spanish places was Asador Onegin. It was great. The new smash burger place was also good. We went into Ciutadella one day to explore - we got a cab (c 15 - 20 euros) which the hotel ordered for us and showed us where to be dropped off/find a cab rank (no Uber in Menorca) and also gave us a map. Ciutadella is gorgeous but it was a little too hot and humid for comfortable wandering, to be honest. You're a short walk from a nice but busy beach, which is just opposite the Casas. We had a few technical hitches when we were there - we lost water supply pretty much every day. Only for 20-40 mins but a bit inconvenient. Maintenance were on it quickly but hadn't figured it out by the time we left - though we were told on check out that they thought they knew what the problem was. I'm sure they will sort it out. We also had intermittent WiFi which, as we were with our teenage son, meant buying extra data! But these weren't big deals for us - maybe for some. Overall I recommend the villas - it's great having a full service arrangement (daily cleaning, if you want) and all the facilities of 5 star hotels on your doorstep but the privacy and independence of a villa.

This is our 30th year visiting Cala n Bosch. We’ve always rented a villa just outside the main area as we were a family with children. This time it was just my husband & I so we opted to stay on the marina. What an absolute gem these bungalows are. You initially check in at the main reception for the hotel. They then issue you with a wrist band that provides access to the locked gates & the door to your bungalow which is a short walk away. Great size bedrooms with really comfy beds. First class aircon. Spotlessly clean. Housekeeping came round every day. Towels changed & pool towels provided. I agree for self catering the kitchen space is basic at best yet one lovely family we met managed to do a full cooked breakfast every morning!! The bathroom is great. A really powerful shower, excellent hairdryer & really good quality toiletries. Superb pool & surrounding area. The pool does slope quite steeply & would perhaps benefit from a hand rail. Really comfortable sun beds…a few with parasols. There wasn’t a day when we couldn’t get a sun bed. We met the loveliest people ranging from young families to a mum (80) & her son. It caters for all ages. It is perfectly situated to go out walking & exploring or to stroll around the marina & visit the numerous restaurants & bars. Would we return? 100% we would.

We’ve just spent a very relaxing six night break in one of these wonderful villas. May is the start of the season in Cala’n Bosch so they were clean and in excellent order. There are four villas in total that overlook Cala’n Bosch marina, one 4 bedroom and three 3 bedroom. We were in Villa 3, a three bedroom. They are built over a row of restaurants, but as we were there for the first week of the season, they were the only restaurants not yet open so there wasn’t issue with noise, but I could see it may be a problem later through the year. The large terrace overlooking the marina is equipped with patio furniture, sofa, coffee table etc and a large dining table and chairs. There is also an electric awning over the dining area. Off the terrace are two pairs of patio doors, one into the lounge and on to the master bedroom. The lounge diner is quite large, although there is only one sofa and an easy chair. There’s also a small dining table. There is a TV, but only one English Channel, Sky News. There’s a well equipped kitchen with full size fridge freezer, oven and induction hob along with kettle, coffee machine and toaster, not a great selection of pots and pans though. Bedrooms are a decent size with plenty of storage and a free to use safe in the master bedroom. The master has a king size bed, two singles in the second and bunks in the third. There are two shower rooms/WC’s. The en-suite has a very restrictive column next to the loo! All rooms have individual remote control air condition/heater units. Patio doors lead from the kitchen area to the large, very private pool area with four sun loungers, a Balinese bed and two large parasols. The pool was clean, around 14’x8’ and from 2’6” to 4’6” deep. It’s not heated, but we were there from 2nd May and it was quite comfortable after the initial shock! There is a maid service, she called daily to see if we needed anything. There are bath and pool towels provided for six people, as there were only two of us, we didn’t need any extra or changing. There is a private gated car park behind the Villas thar are charged at €10 per day. Highly recommended.

Overall the apartment was nice. Comfortable beds. Clean. Air conditioned. Well stocked and replenished with water and toilet roll. The kitchen is poorly stocked if you want any type of self catering element- we had no breakfast bowls for example. Pool is very nice and clean - not heated, so great in Aug when it was boiling, but would be uncomfortable in a cooler month. You’re situated on top of restaurants and one side faces the marina which is beautiful. You’ll hear noise all day from the hotel across the way as they play music, but it’s not intrusive. You’ll also hear the restaurants moving all their chairs at about midnight, but again not really bothersome. Our villa (villa 4), does have a road next to it which has loading bays. Often groups of men are stood, and this could do with some screening. Restaurants, beach.supermarkets all very close. Easy getting a bus into cituadella in the evening, water park also a few minutes walk. The resort is quiet, not too much to actually do - lovely restaurants, but a lack of Spanish restaurants! Jet 2 themselves are useless, no information about check in, you get dumped near the villas, but it’s not where you check in - they need to drop you at the hotel which is the check in. Similarly no information is provided about check out beyond a pick up time.
