This was our 3rd time returning to Mar Senses in Menorca after staying at another of their hotels last year in Cala D’or. We have always loved this hotel & never been able to make fault however this year we do have a few things that we felt had been missed that left us feeling like things could be improved but only minor issues. Firstly, when we used to arrive we were welcomed with arrival drinks, first year it was a fruit juice or glass of fizz and this was always a lovely way of being greeted after travelling & this isn’t meaning someone should stand there all day, simply the dispensers with iced water & glasses was a welcomed feature for first impressions. Secondly the bins around the pool area used to be emptied regularly- this year they weren’t and so by lunch time the glasses were towering over the top & lots of wasps were gathering which around the children’s pool area/snack bar was not a welcomed feature- we do however appreciate that many people were simply just leaving food and plates on their sunbeds and simply not tidying up after themselves which is then no fault of the staff. The pool areas were jet washed each evening and spotless again by the morning but by late afternoon the areas were left looking littered - this could simply be changed by a staff member being on duty around the pool areas for simple tidying up/emptying bins more often & also around the outdoor restaurant area. The children’s pools were looking a little bit in need of a touch up with cracks and peeling paint on the slides but this again doesn’t affect the use of them, the children still had a great time. I have to say that these niggles do not outweigh the rest of the holiday - the staff are amazing, from checking in, housekeeping, restaurant & entertainment- they work SO hard and make the stay so enjoyable. The restaurant is fantastic, we had 3 adults and 2 small children and never got bored of the food or had a bad meal - the restaurant is busy but it’s to be expected in a busy family resort. The location is amazing - simply across the road from the marina, shops, bars, restaurants, and easy bus link to other towns. On the whole we loved our stay and would happily return but would like to see the small amendments made to get this great place back to its amazing standards.

“Nice but not worth money paid!”

Nice area, short walk to beach good, nice pools and friendly kind reception staff, however hotel does not seem 4 star, 3 at most. Nice area, short walk to beach good, nice pools and friendly kind reception staff, however hotel does not seem 4 star, 3 at most. Restaurant is poor with guests having to clear away their own dirty plates half the time due to lack of staff for the amount of guests dining. We paid for 3 rooms and 2 out of the 3 have had problems with the air conditioning in the rooms. Our upgraded room is leaking from the shower into the toilet. Rooms aren’t cleaned every day so were left hunting for clean towels. Sofa beds are very uncomfortable and pillows smell bad, and only one bed in each unit so someone has to have an uncomfortable night! A lot of bees around the pool and beds as bins not cleared or floor cleaned regularly enough. They follow you when you walk past the bar and hovering around you whilst sunbathing. Someone also stole my daughter’s brand new crocs on the first day just to add to the annoyance! Disappointed and feel hotel does not match the price we paid.

“Just OK”

Just returned from a week at Paradise Club in Cala en Bosch. The hotel is ok.. the pool area with slides was good for our 2 year old but could do with freshening up. The restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. The food was just alright and we ended up eating out quite a lot. The WiFi didnt work throughout the stay. The staff however were lovely. Especially the housekeeping staff, who always made an effort with our little boy.
