“Just Excellent”

It was our third visit to the hotel but this time (for the first time) we went All Inclusive. All I can say is that it was a 5* experience and, despite being right at the end of the season, the staff were superb and they did all they could to meet our requirements even though food and drinks stocks… more

It was our third visit to the hotel but this time (for the first time) we went All Inclusive. All I can say is that it was a 5* experience and, despite being right at the end of the season, the staff were superb and they did all they could to meet our requirements even though food and drinks stocks were obviousy diminishing. They went to extra effort to find the lst bottles, cans, snacks, whatever we requested and it was much appreciated. The food remains a highight with the buffet restaurant quality at both breakfast and dinner being superb. Our only real negative comment is that maybe Valentinos could do more smaller plates/snacks as maybe we are "pickers" but the larger meals for lunch and dinner were just too much unless we just shared one. I wanted to try the nachos but I couldn't bring myself to order the large platter and throw much away and getting across a "small portion" to the staff just didn't work on the couple of times we tried to do this. All credit to Diego, Lorenzo and Ivan at the bars who shone with their service levels although that is a little unfair as all the staff are a credit to the hotel. Exceptional all round. Our only concern is that All Inclusive becomes too popular are the competition for Bali beds is a concern. The other sunbeds are just so uncomfortable I cannot sit on them for more than 5 minutes. Please could this be addressed with padded cushions - perhaps left in the rooms so you can take yours to the sunbed of your choice and are responsible for them if it rains? Will we be back? Oh yes, I am pretty sure we will see you soon.

Lovely hotel , excellent food, excellent staff. Unfortunate set up with premium guests rubbing shoulders with basic guests. You felt like a second class citizen, ropes cordoning off seating areas and special seats in dining room. Some of the rooms very basic looking on to dreary wooden fences… more

Lovely hotel , excellent food, excellent staff. Unfortunate set up with premium guests rubbing shoulders with basic guests. You felt like a second class citizen, ropes cordoning off seating areas and special seats in dining room. Some of the rooms very basic looking on to dreary wooden fences with traffic going past. If you can pay £940 a week more you can get a suite with a pool view. Very quiet area. Bus service to cuitadella had been altered and no longer went in to town square, it was a good ten minute walk from the new bust stance.

Having arrived after 3 hours late due to adverse weather we were presented at reception with 2 complimentary small bottles of water, we were then told men had to wear long trousers for dinner, not seeing this when we booked the receptionist told us it is all over the internet. bit over the top for buffet meals. We were then told you had to pay for safe deposit box and pool towels, again not what we are used to. Got to the room eventually and being exhausted from travelling 12 hours it took a long time to work out where the controls were to turn off piped music playing in the bathroom, eventually found control over bidet !!!!! Then also control for ceiling fan were not easy to find !!! There is no information pack concerning controls in the room. One complimentary bottle of water in the room but that’s all , oh and bring your own teabags as quality of tea is poor . After a week food becomes very repetitive , no hot plates to be seen , so food gets cold Limited salad choice and very strange deserts for adult only ,if you like jelly then this is the hotel for you !!! Oh and don’t buy a drink in the bar expecting to take it to the restaurant as this is also not allowed, on the first night you can but not after , they expect you to buy a bottle of wine for €23 . Pool beds have no cushions so if you have slight arthritic hips you’re going to be very uncomfortable. I know many people give this a 5* rating, maybe they only stay one week but it’s the little things that don’t cost much that make a stay more enjoyable . Male staff are second to none, friendly and knowledgeable, women , well you can make your own conclusion!! Cleaning staff were lovely and work very hard Enjoy
